Just wanna know peoples thoughts on black and white r32's. For the last 4 months I have been looking for a black r32, the thing is black shows everything and you have to wash it pretty much every day for it to be clean where as white still looks tuff on 32's and it doesn’t show anywhere near as much damage on the car like scratches and white to me has some sort of a fresh look to it where as the black r32's look a bit boring in my opinion compared to the white ones.

What's your opinions?

I had looked for black, silver, purple when choosing my gtr...but was unable to find a good example.

Did not want white......have had 3 cars in white before.(ALL USED)

If we were buying them new..then I would have choose silver or gun metal

Most people who choose a second hand car choose these colors to look good .

But they seem to neglect other things on the car.

All of the gtrs I had viewed (IN A COLOR) seemed to be neglected in other areas

The DUCO is not the start..nor the beggining .....so you need to buy the car not the color.

I ended up with a white one.

I had a Black Lancia many years ago and I swore I would never buy a black car again.

The interior was hot in the summer and it was a never ending story trying to keep it looking good.

My 2c's worth....hope I have helped.

This has got to be a no-brainer.

We live in Aus right, it gets HOT. Black sucks that heat right up, aircon has to work overtime, you can't hold the steering wheel, get burnt bits from the seat belts, you're hood lining droops, dash suffers more than usual, etc etc.

Black cars and sunroofs belong in another hemisphere.

I'll admit a nice clean black car looks great, but in someone else's garage.

Black black black.

No need to wash every day.

I've found from a short distance the black still looks shinny for a good half to full week. Up close you do see the watermarks and dust etc but all in all.. Black stays looking good for some time.

To be honest with you I prefer black but I have my reasons to prefer black because I already have my future colour scheme in mind for my R32. I was searching for some nice black R32's when I got my Skyline but I ended up getting a blue one. Reason being is the blue one already had more stuff on it I wanted and it isn't that hard to get a car resprayed later.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
