First time down at the drag strip with M/T Street Radials and they were brand new, couldn't do a decent burnout so the first couple of runs couldn't get traction or bogged down, but by the end of the day the 12's started coming out when i learnt how to launch properly.

I won both my bracket races by default LOL, because both the cars i raced false started  guess i'll get a FREE wednesday night pass BONUS!

Had a great time and thank you to all those that organised shame about the weather though.

I had a couple of 4WD problems that needed to be sorted out, plus a 3rd gear selection problem. Attessa needed to be bled, and the HKS ETC system needs a lot of 'tuning'. On every run, I would either bog off the line, or wheelspin through first and second, and then couldn't engage third gear properly. Still very happy that the car got down the track in once piece as this was the first time I have driven the car after the build.

Thanks to Adam and the V8 Owners Club for a great day.

Congrats to all the new PB's and that it went smoothly, without the problems of the last SAU WSID day.

So did any of you guys beat the ZED?? I heard ZX2NV ran a flat 12 sec pass, not bad for a barge! Anchors away.

Adam, you have now driven an LS1, are you coming over to the dark side???????

Peter.

That thing (his tow car for the rest of you) can just about do burnouts without going over 2000rpm :P but.... no. hehe. I like the roundy roundy too.

i couldn't beat it, didn't expect a 12flat from it i've got the other side of that time slip when it did the 12flat i ran 12.7 for that run

Had a great day, post the nerve killing first run.

Couldnt of done it without my pit bitch....Hi 5 Liz!!

Yay for Stormin Norman's launching lessons

Thanks to Adam and V8 guys

anytime for a member of the three letter name gang

hi5!

How'd the NBP crew go?? Malecki?

who are NBP?

Thanks for a great day guys... just wish the rain held off a little longer!

Chubbs... I think my best time was a 14.01 something... First run of the day on street tyres Lucas did a 13.201 - third slipped a bit though!

Lucas was runnning in the low 14's after that also - worked out that the pin to the master cylinder that we made was a smidgen too long.... hence 2nd & 3rd was slipping..... didn't get a chance to test it out heaps as the clutch was only finished being installed late Saturday!

We put the semi's I had lying around on after the lunch and he ran a 13.3 (clutch was nice & cold!)... Heading back down either this wednesday or next with the clutch sorted and some MT's.... hoping to crack the high 12's.... (with Lucas driving.. I just want to get in the 13's!)

nice Anna!

I may head out next week also!

Links...love that last shot of my car with Lucas "warming" up the the semis... I made him put them on cause he was killing my street tyres :P

DJ Brave.. where are all your photos??????

was a great bit of weather for racing, except for the rain. it was good to see charlies car running, and I've no doubt it's going to be insane when it's sorted. I was just happy for a chance to take the car for a run and catch up with some of the guys I haven't seen in a while. congrats to all those that entered.

What happened to you and Stace and Twoogle, Paul?

awww.. can't believe they didn't make it, but at the same time i'm glad i didn't miss twoggles debut :D

im testing out a new fake RWD burnout system for FWD, my target market is honda drivers.

    • A 1.5 way is a 2 way. It is just a 2 way with a less aggressive ramp on overrun.
    • The ABS and/or TCS being missing/broken will not cause the engine to misbehave. It just casues CEL to come on and annoy you. The CEL is useless if it is always on, so you have to do the things you have to do to get rid of it, so it can be useful. Being a Stag ECU, then yes, it will not expect TCS to be present. But it will expect ABS to be present and working. You will need to either make the ABS CU talk to the ECU (don't ask me what that will take on an NA R34), and make sure the hardware is working....or, you just need to blank it out in Nistune. Do not persist with the stock ECU. You will just have problems. Gte it Nistuned. Start from there. DO YOU HAVE A BOOST SENSOR? The ECU's boost sensor that it. It is connected to the loom at the rear of the coil cover. Usually rides on the firewall on an R34, but is usually bolted down to a bracket along with all the other crap at the back of the coil cover when a Neo is dropped into another car. If you do not have it, the ECU will shit the bed. So, do you have one?
    • So sadly the fuel pump etc was not it. The pump and filter is new and it is still cutting around 4000 rpm. A read something about ABS/TCS (engine is from stagea and ECU too so no TCS) and i dont know for 100% that my car has ABS. It has ABS "cube" in engine bay but i dont think it works(or at least from my braking experience). Can be something like that?  I will be driving the car next week to Nistune tuner to properly see what is wrong...
    • the Tomei LSD fluid with lsd kit. frustrated that it was shaking the car to crap and affecting everything else negatively, I pulled the diff last night, and removed the lsd carrier, could not find anything wrong, however it seem to be 100 locked up acceleration, and deacceleration, wondering if they sent me a 2 way not a 1.5??  either way I installed the stock open carrier back in place. test drove everything smooth as butter again. no shake, shutter, random, what felt like clutch slip and grab or drive shaft play, etc. something differently wrong in side the lsd. I might bother taking it apart (if possible) to figure out what's going on inside this carrier, as bought too long ago to return.  only draw back is its back to a one wheel wonder.
