hi pplz, i've just got a quick question about body kits... just how much does it cost to get a body kit, then have it fitted/painted?

Front bars alone range from a few hundred dollars through to a thousand dollars plus. Backyard panel sprays a couple of hundred dollars, full car respray, in a different color, several thousand dollars.

Take your pick.

just remember that when you do a body kit. they will chop metal off your front bar.

no one told me this... so i tell you now.

about $2500 is what i would pay. but read the dodgy body kit thread.

i know of a guy that does backyard sprays.

he charges around $4000 for the whole car.for a front bar he said it will cost $400.

btw does anybody know where i can get the "Fibre Vision modified TRUST front bar" from? its a rare front bar im told and ihave been quoted $2500!!!

umm, i had a front yard job (not backyard) front bar for only 400. You should be able to get as cheap as 300. Do a search of the (failed) front bar painting group buy in NSW.

I just put a bomex front bar onto my car for 950 fitted & painted...for the rest of the kit, it'll be also be 950 fitted and painted, so that's like 1900...it's a good price for a killer kit.
