New PC 2.5k? You gotta be kidding right?

I build a whole PC 18 months ago for 1.5k including an 18" monitor. It works sweet as.

Gonna update very soon with the core duo gear and that will be around the same price... and the best part... tax deductible :)

ooooooo

Thanks for the links, time to buy a new pc...

Protos best team out of all of em!!11

Knowing Blizzard, the game wont be anywhere near ready for release anytime soon. I'd give it 1.5-2years yet until release. Blizzard are notorious for overly long production times.

And if this is the case, im betting the game will look alot different from what we are seeing now to the final finished product.

Although im still hoping you dont need a beast of a machine to run the game. But Blizzard usually do make their games less graphics heavy than most.

Both consoles and pc's are different and they both have there charms. I personnaly enjoy them both for different types of games.

PC's are more expensive no doubt at all and there is reason behind that obviosuly.

On the flip side PC games cost $0.00 dollars if you dont mind ripping off software company's while xbox, playstation games are approx $100.00 dollars

A top of the line video card alone to give similar graphics too a xbox360 or ps3 will cost the price of those systems.

And thats the price you pay unfortunatly

PS dont diss my spelling or ill stab ya in the neck bro

starcraft 2 bring it on, i love how excited the ubernerds are in the first youtube clip.

Should be a good game though, yeah i have a modded xbox (not 360) and i still prefer my pc, My old housemate just bought an AMAZING system from a place here in WA www.netplus.com.au. For 2k he pretty much got top of the line everything thats including 22 inch widescreen lcd dual core DIRECT X10 card.... list goes on..

I was very jealous as you can imagine :-)

Starcraft is better than sex for Koreans. Starcraft cures cancer, paves roads, delivers babies and then proceeds to raise the babies to be upstanding Starcraft-playing citizens of Korea. Who are then treated like movie stars ust for being good at Starcraft, I kid you not. For Koreans, a Starcraft tournament is like the Super Bowl.
this is why i stopped playing games.....new games = $100, new computer = approx $2,500.......3 years later....SC3 comes out...and the whole cycle starts..... :(

lol you've been ripped.

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
