If you coulod afford the 800,000 US it costs, then I'm sure you can afford the unregistered vehicle fines :D

Errm, what about the fact your car is unregistered, unroadworthy and therefore not insurable??

Don't think you could afford to drive a US$800,000 car without insurance....AND if you could, i think you would have mansions in more than just Australia

Damn it, 3 cars isn't enough!

here's a start:

Daily cruiser... S-Class (including all the variants - AMG, Brabus, etc). i love luxury and space, and this is the ultimate gangster ride.

Next; 1959 Caddy. For driving once a month with the supermodel wife, and getting more attention than any of todays supercars.

extensively modified 9-second z-tune. I love exotics, but if i can only choose 3 cars then one of them has to do an easy 9 second pass. and this is it.

Besides, i'd have my P1 membership to give me access to the italian and german exotics

umm, I've seen an F40 on the road, number plate on (slimline of course!) driving towards Phillip Island (I assume) on the South Gippy hwy. :worship: SO red !

Has anyone seen the N.Z. replica F40, with a twin-turbo 1UZ ? It's quicker than the genuine article ! ! !

My 3 Car Garage

My Toy. None of this water cooled, traction controlled crap that they make now. Hard to Beat the Gruff note of a Force fed air cooled boxer.

Steph94_big.jpg

My Daily. AMG CLK DTM. Hitting the town at night, going for a cruise. Nothing like having 500 horses under your hood!

My investment and track car. Screaming twin turbos. No Electronic driving aids. One of the Most Desirable Ferraris ever built.

Yes, but they're still left hand drive. Max Beck I beleive is the owner of that car?? I remember reading a feature years ago saying his young fella drove it to his school formal and through Maccas drive through! lol I just love the F40, even though they're responsible for creating more widows than any other Supercar in history. :(

Dead F40 drivers obviously suck-ass, as drivers that is. (no disrespect to them as people, far from it - they had the good sense to buy an F40!!!!)

Such a shame, further proof that even though somebody may be able to AFFORD to drive a supercar, they don't necessarily DESERVE to drive it ! :D

Greta to talk about owning such flamboyant, ostentatious cars. But i would never want to actually drive one around.

I would have my old 3 cyl 880cc Handivan back for day to day driving. I would have a Bedford Van on gas for those driving holidays and a place to sleep when i too drunk to drive. Also good for kidnaping Pommie tourists. And my one car that woudl be worth more then a steamer would be a neat 68 Camaro, or 58 Vette.

    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
