R32 Vs R33 Gtst Shock Differences

Ok, so i know the fronts can be swapped between models, but how are the rears different? Shock length?

All very interesting. But last time i checked we were on a wonderfully green and blue earth, not hell. You havent addressed the simple fact that R33 owners are all of dubious sexual orientation. R33s are known to be susceptible to germs and disease and often end up pink with 20" chromies, yellow leather and more fibreglass then a catamaran. The roof line is good on foggy mornings as with such a high seating position bird strikes become a real concern, but hey, the fog is all the way down there.

Then there is this whole RB25 thing. Nissan threw cheaper and weaker pistons and rods at the car...and thought to themselves, hell we have thrown all this weight at the unsuspecting Nissan enthusiast, we better given them displacement so they dont notice the extra lard. So throwing a weaker engine in the heavier car fitted well with the deisgn intent Nissan had for the R33 GTS25t, they knew most were going to be painted pink and get chrome wheels. So knowing what the owners had in store didnt bother with making a decent car.

Because i can only push this feeling inside me down so many times. It is eating me up inside. My car needs more R33 parts!

I found a good buy on good shocks and it woudl be almost worth modifying the car to accomodate, but maybe not.

As you know the top shock mounts on R32 rears are at the inner guard in the boot, on R33's they are up under the rear parcel shelf. Hence R33 springs and shocks are much longer than R32's. Knowing you, you will want a precise number, R33 shock body 440 mm versus R32 shock body 330 mm.

I suppose you could use them and raise your car 110 mm..................
