what do you think of this is it a gimmick or dose it work and dose any one have one. :)

After hundreds of satisfied customers with the Original Power NEO we have decided to also make the NEWEST upgraded and more powerful version available!! These are only sold in Japan!

You are viewing a BRAND NEW and GENUINE `Power NEO Professional` by the well known Japanese car tuning company, Top Fuel Zero-1000.

The item is a universal item that connects to any 12mm~14mm gasoline or diesel fuel line. Any car can take advantage of this truly amazing piece of Japanese technology!! Inside the Power NEO is a focused patent pending Japanese `NEODYMIUM` Magnet which works by magnetically charging and rearranging the fuel molecules (by breaking the clusters) before it mixed with air and injected in the combustion chamber.

With the TOP-FUEL Power Neo, you will expect the following:

* Slightly higher horsepower

* Better response throughout all RPM`s

* Increased torque

* Cleaner and stronger burning of fuel (reduced emissions)

and possibly the most important with increasing gas prices:

* Better FUEL economy!!! Testing (by multiple car magazines here in Japan) shows an average increase of 5~30% MPG!!

The item is an excellent addition for those who want to keep there vehicle and fend off rising gas prices. With hi-octane gasoline at many parts of the world reaching close to $3.00 and experts forecast prices to reach up to $4.00 in the near future (according to CNN) you may second doubt your current ride. However, the Power Neo will allow you to increase performance while saving valuable gasoline and pay for itself in approximately 4 months (based on $3.00 a gallon gas filling up once a week on a 15 gallon tank with fuel economy based at 20%).

On the inside of the NEO, the magnetic force measures 300mT (505mT for Neo Professional) and cuts down to under 5 mT on the outside. Be aware of cheap Chinese copy-cat companies (SAGE Racing, Maximum Velocity Fuel Charger, etc) who use similar packaging and design. The items may appear similar however the magnetic force on these measure less than 2/5th`s (179mT SAGE Racing) of the TOP-Fuel Power Neo. In addition, the magnetic force is not focused in towards the fuel line on the inside alone on GENERIC units which measure close to the same on what is on the inside of the unit. The Power NEO is a specially designed item that focuses all of the magnetic force to the fuel line.

Installation time should take approximately 30 minutes and no modifications are needed to use the item. Just find your fuel line under the hood and clamp this on it. Completely stock to highly modified engines can benefit from this item.

The item is BRAND NEW and comes with allen wrench and a `TOP-FUEL` Zero-1000 sticker as well!

The retail price on this item from TOP Fuel is JPY17,640 (approximately USD154) (http://www.topfuel.info/parts_catalog/powerneo.html)

sticky tape a powerful magnet to your fuel rail and see...

sounds like one of those stories, proven in theory, and marketed to suit todays oil crisis

just save the waiting time and wrap the $100 note around your fuel line instead. it will have the same effects. that is, you will be $100 poorer, your car will look silly, and it will still run the same as before.

... and you'll still have enough money left over to fill up your car anyway.. win-win.!!!

If you post up thinking its a gimmick, it is :D

thanks for your info but still no one has tried one ,not one person in how many thousands of people in this forum. :D:(

from sema

Power Neo isn’t your run of the mill performance part – it’s a small cylindrical device that hooks onto your fuel line. Inside the device is a Neodymium magnet (“highest magnetism of any magnet”) that helps break down fuel particles into ultra fine fuel particles that in turn are better for combustion. The result is a claimed increase in power, torque, response, and fuel economy. Power Neo Neodymium magnet to change the characteristics l Nissan Sylvia Spec S showed less fuel consumption and more mileage from the same amount of gas. Yea, it sounds a little crazy, but we’re giving the Top Fuel guys the benefit of the doubt. Other Top Fuel products now available in the U.S. include their NanoTech Ag8Z oil additive – designed to decrease friction and improve fuel economy – andtheur NanoTechAg8E Contact Oil – designed to improve contact between electrical contacts (battery, spark plugs, fuses).

No one on the forum has tried one as no-one so far has been that big a moron/sucker or if they have they are too embarassed to tell you.

The magnet is the same material found on some of your domestic variety speakers. This type of 'scam' device has been in exsistence for years under different names. Notice the used of words like 'claimed' as opposed to independantly proven

In the interest of science you can always be 'stupid' and pay good money to test one....your call.

Zero to $100 should be the full title, they just left the $ off.

perfect some one that tells me how it is 100% credit to you ,o and i do like ( if they have they are too embarrassed to tell you.) cos i bet there has been

thanks for your complete honesty

did back to back testing just to confirm my suspicions on the r32 (red version) and on cats car (green version) ZERO improvement... i looked at Aus distribution for Top Fuel (lost of products) and they sent accross a box of these as samples.

In reply, as rev210 said (he beat me to it)

lol @ you actually trying one Trent.

Surely you did some reasearch first?

haha it was more a fun thing, left over samples. im the most sceptical person when it comes to performance products (get 1000's of submissions a week) and as a matter of process i test all so-called 'enhancers' just so i can say sorry we are not interested based on our preliminary results.... unfortunately some times i have to test even the most dubious products.... should see the fuel tank tampon ive been submitted....

i was looking at top fuel complete program and their "magnetic" products were part of that whole deal, the rest of their products are actually quite good but i could not get a deal where it excluded these fuel type add-ons, needless to say i dont import top fuel based on this.

Hahahahahahaha.

I work for a transport company with a fleet of 15 trucks. I have been approached by all the "fuel saver" companies over the years trying to flog there rubbish at me. From fuel line clamps, to inline magnets to magic pills to drop in the tank they arrive in my office promising the world.

Last month was the "Robots Tampon guy" as he has been nicknamed lol.

He gave me 3 devices. Put one in a small truck that does multi drop in metro and no improvement. One in the interstater with no improvement. One went in a hilux ute and according to the fuel receipts it has gained over a litre/100km economy....weird, its the only non turbo vehicle it went in..all diesel. Every driver came to me though and asked "what the f@ck is the chain hanging off my fuel cap" LMFAO.

Let me know what your findings are with the tampon URAS.

I've seen the top fuel ones on a few big hp japanese track cars. Probably just a marketing thing...

Bee-Racing make a 'Power Egg' - same thing as this, they claim up to 7HP :|

http://www.bee-r.com/main/parts/sonota/egg.htm

the guys at the bottom of the page look like they've just been asked to do it for a photo hahahahahaha

Shame that Top Fuel are making and promoting this crap when they make some other awesome stuff (besides this).

    • I'm looking for some real world experiences/feed back from anyone who has personally ran a EFR7670 with a 1.05 exhaust housing or a .83 I'm leaning towards the .83 because its a street car used mostly for spirited driving in the canyons roads. I"m not looking for big numbers on paper. I want a responsive powerband that will be very linear to 8000 rpm. I dont mind if power remains somewhat flat but dont want power to drop off on top. The turbo I've purchased is a 1.05, although the mounting flange T3 vs T4 and internal vs external waste gates are different on both housings, I not concern about swapping parts or making fabrication mods to get what I want. Based on some of the research I've done with chat gpt, the 1.05 housing seems to be the way to go with slightly more lag and future proofing for more mods but recommends .83 for best response/street car setup. AI doesn't have the same emotions as real people driving a GTR so I think you guys will be able to give me better feed back 😀
    • Surely somebody has one in VIC. Have you asked at any shops?  Is this the yearly inspection or did you get a canary?
    • This is where I share pain with you, @Duncan. The move to change so many cooling system pieces to plastic is a killer! Plastic end tanks and a few plastic hose flanges on my car's fail after so little time.  Curious about the need for a bigger rad, is that just for long sessions in the summer or because the car generally needs more cooling?
    • So, that is it! It is a pretty expensive process with the ATF costing 50-100 per 5 litres, and a mechanic will probably charge plenty because they don't want to do it. Still, considering how dirty my fluid was at 120,000klm I think it would be worth doing more like every 80,000 to keep the trans happy, they are very expensive to replace. The job is not that hard if you have the specialist tools so you can save a bit of money and do it yourself!
    • OK, onto filling. So I don't really have any pics, but will describe the process as best I can. The USDM workshop manual also covers it from TM-285 onwards. First, make sure the drain plug (17mm) is snug. Not too tight yet because it is coming off again. Note it does have a copper washer that you could replace or anneal (heat up with a blow torch) to seal nicely. Remove the fill plug, which has an inhex (I think it was 6mm but didn't check). Then, screw in the fill fitting, making sure it has a suitable o-ring (mine came without but I think it is meant to be supplied). It is important that you only screw it in hand tight. I didn't get a good pic of it, but the fill plug leads to a tube about 70mm long inside the transmission. This sets the factory level for fluid in the trans (above the join line for the pan!) and will take about 3l to fill. You then need to connect your fluid pump to the fitting via a hose, and pump in whatever amount of fluid you removed (maybe 3 litres, in my case 7 litres). If you put in more than 3l, it will spill out when you remove the fitting, so do quickly and with a drain pan underneath. Once you have pumped in the required amount of clean ATF, you start the engine and run it for 3 minutes to let the fluid circulate. Don't run it longer and if possible check the fluid temp is under 40oC (Ecutek shows Auto Trans Fluid temp now, or you could use an infrared temp gun on the bottom of the pan). The manual stresses the bit about fluid temperature because it expands when hot an might result in an underfil. So from here, the factory manual says to do the "spill and fill" again, and I did. That is, put an oil pan under the drain plug and undo it with a 17mm spanner, then watch your expensive fluid fall back out again, you should get about 3 litres.  Then, put the drain plug back in, pump 3 litres back in through the fill plug with the fitting and pump, disconnect the fill fitting and replace the fill plug, start the car and run for another 3 minutes (making sure the temp is still under 40oC). The manual then asks for a 3rd "spill and fill" just like above. I also did that and so had put 13l in by now.  This time they want you to keep the engine running and run the transmission through R and D (I hope the wheels are still off the ground!) for a while, and allow the trans temp to get to 40oC, then engine off. Finally, back under the car and undo the fill plug to let the overfill drain out; it will stop running when fluid is at the top of the levelling tube. According to the factory, that is job done! Post that, I reconnected the fill fitting and pumped in an extra 0.5l. AMS says 1.5l overfill is safe, but I started with less to see how it goes, I will add another 1.0 litres later if I'm still not happy with the hot shifts.
