I'm in with Mayhem on this about no self elected hierarchy ...

also I don't want to offend or appear rude, but I think for first President how bout someone who has been with the club since the beginning?

I'm thinking Troy could be a candidate since he fits this criteria, and he also has done quite a bit of research in the past into getting an official club together.

As I said, I'm not trying to offend Paul or Steve SST or anyone, just a suggestion.

he has my vote... but I think few others should be on committy as you probably dont know/know who's been invoved in SDU/SAU from the start.

arrhhh we came long way, I remember I was happy to find fellow skyliners in perth.

ps. Sponsor, what is this really mean for SAU? present and future?

me two cents

Hmm sounds like a good idea. Ive been wanting to get this up and running for a while but never thought we had enough support in the past. Glad to see someone is doing something about it.

Try and make this meeting before the end of the month ok? ill be away from the 2-20 of july.

Top work Steve, Grant and co;)

All the commitee members will be elected at the first AGM, we just need to get the paperwork going, as it will take over 1month before we will be a recognized identity.

The meeting that Steve suggested is the first step, then people to follow through with the paper work. After the club is formed then all the members will be allowed to vote for commitee members etc.

yeah my personal and honest vote goes to Troy

it's nothing personal, and nothing political - only I feel that Troy has commited and dedicated most of his time to the initialisation and formation of the club

I don't feel that someone who has been here since late last year should be in the running for president, when there are lots of others who have been here since the start who have earned the position

no offence to anyone, I don't want this to become a bitch fight, but this is what I feel

PLEASE read the other thread as well, so that you know what you are in for!!

We have started a WA R31 Skyline Club already :D Have had a couple of cruises which have been successful with the turnout of members, about 10 carrs + each time.. not many, but its just started, so its better than nothing :D

goodo maybe after the dyno day next sunday

yes paulie want be here but it mainly be an info session and we can get his thoughts before he goes.

i'll get the relevant info packs sent out to me hopefully they will arrive before the weekend.

Hmmm sounds interesting..... I am interesting in comming along and seeing whats involved and such.... Unfortunately I go to Melbourne next Sunday for a week so I may not be able to make the meeting depending when it is going to be held, but rest assured I would like to see a proper car club for all of us :P

kewl

since everyone has decided to elect me as President, :P lol

i think Steve could chat with us all after the dyno, just to be sure what role SST and Per4manz will be playing and what their roles with be etc. Note: Steve has stressed that he won't have a part in the running of the club. But im sure there will be some extra info he can add.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
