WOO HOO

You guys would have probably got over with the soccer thing after the world cup but last night, the socceroo did us PROUD once again, well done boys well done. We're now facing the giant Japan but once again i have faith in them, they will do it.

Anyone know if SBS will re-screen last night match?

:)

Yup was ace!!

Bring on Japan - we'll destroy them again :domokun:

My guess is that SBS are too wrapped up with the Tour at the moment to replay the soccer.

LOL did us proud ? they lost to a country that is in war... and they drew with a country that half the worlds population doesnt even know it exists. did us proud... my ass. we should of had 9 pounts 1/2 goals conceded 10 goals scored.

Who cares, we could have lost, we did loose to a country that is in war but after all this is sport, you win some, you loose some.

It could be the weather, could be anything but the point is these guys did a terrific job to get us back in the game. I don't care what happened previously, i'm always behind my country regardless.

GO SOCCEROO!

SBS dont have the rights for the Asian Cup, Fox do.. so i doubt very much that they are allowed to screen any replays of games.

Their start to the tournament was VERY dissapointing, lets see what they can do now. Hopefully they have their act together for the finals.

im with those 2 ^^^

socceroos didnt deserve to progress to the last 8, but the mere fact that the players who beat thailand were alot of a league players goes to show that the players with names arent as good as they think they are.

players like lucas neil shouldnt be playing. too many damn mistakes in the last match for him and now how is graham arnold gonna drop carney, milligan and beuachamp? they all played stellar games and recall the guys that couldnt beat iraq?

gotta agree with the majority here...sure they won, and they're going through, but to say they played well is a bit of a stretch...the 4-0 scoreline definitely doesn't do thailand any justice considering how well they played, and that they made the majority of the scoring oppurtunities...

good to see the support, but don't get too cocky...they couldn't beat iraq, drew to oman and were tested on more than a few occasions by thailand....

I could tell you now if they happen to play Irag again, i'm sure they're in for a big suprise.

Like said with a line of players like Kewl, Viduka, Craig.......they should have taken us all the way to reach the cup easy but like said, they might need to get their act together otherwise, GO SOCCEROO.

I'm sure i'll have socceroo top on, with the massive socceroo Flag, watch the game of us vs Japan at TAB somewhere, we all know Japan is a tough one to beat in this coming game but once again, i'm behind the socceroo regardless.

then y under a different coach, they played a different style of soccer, played a more fluent game and had people going wow? with arnold he is a shit coach and the ref you have to say made some very poor decisions, 1 the red card against vince grella was not a red, and so many fouls that japan committed werent given.

also it didnt help that the coach used all of his subs by the 80th minute when the red came.... poor coaching not to leave anything in the tank shoudl it have gone to etra time which it did. thats all.

players arent that bad...

They were shit all tournament! They didnt attack the ball on defence like they usually play, they didnt play the simple short ball and 1st time passes and allowed defence to close them in. They didnt switch play enough, I remember 2 all tournament and it was kewell both times. When he switched it Emerton had about 20m around him of room. Arnolds tactics were pathetic. It was even said when Guus Hijdink was manager Arnold would still want to do things his own way. New, european manager would suit the Socceroos fantastically! My 2c lol.

Liam

why the f**k are people blaming refs and coaches? its the players that are f**kin shit!

when are you gonna realise that?

sheeesh

Our players are shit, do you want me to give you a knock in the head for you to wake up! :). They don't get pick by the Euro teams for nothing jesus!

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
