You're thinking along the lines of the previous owner of my car with the battery placement.

Any particular reason for putting the switches on the tunnel and not in the centre console?

I can't take credit, a mate did it on his car, then installed it on mine :D

I'm going to be mounting the fuse box in front of the shifter, which is why I'm putting the switch panel where it is. I have an ERP bellhousing for my RB25 gearbox, and it moves the shifter forward. I didn't want to hit any switches with my clumsy shifting :) I have long arms, so I can still reach it where it is, but I might extend my shifter so I don't hit anything with my elbow.

Mick: nice looking setup there man. I'm trying to get my fuel system done at the moment, but the guy doing my enclosure has just pulled out so trying to get another one done. Never ending delays...

Been doing the rest of the sound deadening today, gave myself a nice cut which i then managed to bash a few times

Only the trans tunnel and behind the pedals was left to do so i used a heat gun and scrapper, wasnt too bad a job. Cbf going to get more dry ice :(

I also decided that since i have come this far im going to remove whats left of the dash and take out the heater etc and paint it properly and re wire with minimal wires.

have you go the measurements for that? is it a zeta type 3?

I just picked up a plain black Bride Zeta type 2 Type L from JDM Concept on the forum...

(Care to pm me price you paid)

cheers

Michael

Yeah they were great to deal with.

Anyway did u use the low max rail as well, how much did it lower you roughly. I have issues once i have my helmet on because i have a sunroof, that is 90% of the reason i have thsese seats so im going to be a bit pissed if i still have a problem.

cheers

Whats with the catch can setup in the engine bay?

Can understand why you ran out of money , lots of big dollar parts there

i got defected for having a breather on the catch can after the defect change the catch can setup so that the breathers are hidden in the airbox while i was there we added another catch can

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
