Yep - grey Lambo ragtop is one of mine.

Those rims are the standard 997 Turbo items. You can spec different style wheels - like the GT3 ones - when you order the car. Or you can have the dark bits body coloured, or painted black. There was a yellow 997 Turbo Cab at Porsche with yellow wheel inserts... that was a bad call.

That black one is owned by the brother of the guy we picked up our silver one from.

I'm just excited my 360CS is back in town. F*CK what a noise!

It makes the Lambo sound like a sewing machine! Race Mode FTW

I saw a grey Gallardo convertible on the weekend, cruising the great ocean rd... WITH THE ROOF UP!!! it was a beautiful day too...

saw this sexy thing today when i was getting some lunch:

(i'm still not decided on the factory wheels)

Me either man, never really liked them... though they looked alright in grey on a white 997 Turbo

Would look much better with GT3 rims on it...

PS James, take me for a spin, pleeeeease! :bunny:

James,

I too saw the SPEED YELLOW 997 911TT Cab at Porsche a few weeks ago and just couldn't believe that the person that ordered it had ticket the $2890 exterior paint option box for the rims. Curious if they had also ticket the Seat Belts in Speed Yellow for $990 as well. Personally I dont really like these rims and would find myself spending countless hours cleaning them even though they have the black inserts as standard, hmm then again if I got the PCCB, maybe they wouldn't need cleaning so much. I personally think the fried egg lamps on the front of the 996 are nice but great to see Porsche move back to the original looking lights on the 997, hence I would order a 997 over the 996 any day of the week. For power, looks and over all GRUNT.

Yeah - that's the Sienna crew

You can see a TR behind the Murch and a 355 over the road.

Here is the 997 Turbo Cab Taxi - and yes, yellow seatbelt and yellow interior options were ticked...

I've just heard a very interesting bit of news that has me cracking 1/2 a fat :domokun:

Apparently Aston has been developing a car in secrecy over the past 2 years or so that was unveiled to a very select group of people this week.....and they have been given strict intrustions to keep things quiet so don't expect details anytime soon.

All I can say is that its small, powered by 12 cylinders and is the quickest car Aston has ever produced. Could this be the Porsche beater that the Vantage didn't quite live up to be??

Terrible... such a shame.

Personally I think that anytime a Turbo is ordered in cabriolet it's a porka wasted...

I bloody well hope so, i can imagine jeremy clarkson on top gear now telling the world its the best car ever:P

Ant, your talking about the Vantage that has a DBRS9 (thats the race engine) shoe horned into it. Auto blog had some photo's of it up on wednesday.

If its true it would be a sexual experience to drive that.

Like I said, not sure of any details past what I wrote but I have it on very good authority from someone who was there that the very car was unveiled in front of them...so I'd take it that it is no rumour

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
