Got similar problem in my r32.

Better off buying a second hand one from a wrecker or a new one from Nissan.

TypeM wreckers (in dandenong) quoted me $70 for a 2nd hand blend door motor and $100 for installation.

Else, you can buy the motor and go to any reputable air conditioner mechanic and they should be able to do it.

R34 has the AC diagnostics too. If the cable is rooted the test should let you know about it.

The r32 blend doors cost $100 brand new from Nissan. I got one second hand for $80. I don't really think you need to be an air conditioning mechanic to do it, as replacing the blend door is a matter of unplugging it, and unscrewing 4 screws. If your comfortable with pulling out bits of your interior then its definatly worth doing yourself.

i might have this problem my air con is blowing hot air most of the time , then sometimes it works, i got a code 26 error a few times doing diagnostics which means pbr according to the manual, is this refering to the blender?

i noticed that the wireloom running next to the blend door motor is the cause of most malfunctions.

By pushing the connector harder into its socket the blend door starts moving as i put the temperature up/down.

The blend door motor is located;

1. go passenger side, stick head into feet area, try and look behind the console (where the headunit is). Basically look at where the feet air vent is.

2. You will then see a metal rod, this is the rod which opens/closes the flap. There should be a wire loom located right next to it, try pushing that upwards whilst mashing the temp up/down. Hopefully it will start to move

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!

    • Good time for a carbon roof
    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
