Good work Paul, what class are you running in over there? seems odd to run 9 second cars against the big drag cars, they definately dont do that here, theres a class here for all the injected drag cars and they are running around the 7 second region and compete with altered's and small rails with small blocks. The handicap would of been huge, you would of been at 3/4 track before she even left the line lol :D

so does this mean the ppg "should" be pretty bulletproof now, or still possible issues with it? Are these shifters available for anyone or whats the go in getting one? I assume it can also be used on a circuit as well or only for drags?

Send me a PM regarding info if you can mate.

thanks

The first shifter was a custom job made from 4340 billet...we will be producing them as a self fitting upgrade.

you have pm

I want to see pictures of this new sexy shifter!!

here ya go...not much to see though. The white cable is the signal feed from the load sensors to the interface box (silver box with led's on side of console) the red button and black cable is to activate the anti-lag prior to launch. The shifter itself is custom made from 4340 billett and has 4 load sensors bonded to read in 4 different directions of movement. The sensors are then covered in epoxy and heat shink sleeve applied (black area under the gearknob) for durability.

Scared? The Dirtman ? lol!!

He will hit it when he is ready

ill not ever be running NOS in this car...as the Ignition DVD states "there's no need"

our goal is well within reach without it.

the cylinder pressures when running NOS on a high boost high rpm set-up hurt parts very easily.

it was installed a few years ago when i believed it was a necessity...nearly all the big drag GTR's don't use it and the power delivery is a bit too hit and miss for bracket racing unless its properly set-up.

    • Hey guys I have a 2001 Nissan stagea vq25det, I don't have any engine lights and not really any issues running but I was curious to see if I could use my obd II scanner to find anything that was hidden and I plugged my scanner in and it just said "Low voltage cannot scan" does anyone know how to fix this or what this could be?
    • Sadly we have something in common, our Skyline's like blowing up electrically 馃槩
    • So, no videos, but, the FAB9 Elite manifold and 68mm Bosch throttle bodies are in stock, but, not the rear part of the air box The FAB9 rear airbox thingie is made with a 3" intake pipe, to suit the 3" intake pipe size of a 68mm throttle body  When they get some more in stock is currently unknown as I'm waiting for FAB9 to reply with a ETA on resupply, my assumption is they outsource their plastic printing stuff to "china", and with the current "tariff war" going on in 'Merica it could be on hold for an undisclosed time Should I pull the pin on the Intake and throttle body, and wait for the airbox?????, that's what I'm thinking... 1. Would the standard 2.75" OEM intake on the air box really be that much of a restriction compared to the 3" naturally aspirated?????? 2. If I don't get the 3" FAB9 airbox fitted at the same time as the intake and throttle body will it need a retune, when/if it eventually turns up?????? As I'm impulsive, to a fault, decisions will be made within....."what's the time now"???....let's say 12 hours......LOL
    • yeah its just so expensive nowadays and its easy to lose motivation very quickly when you start adding up the costs. I acquired the car from a collector in Melbourne and was lucky to get the opportunity to buy something already completed.  I looked at a proper resto and your paying over 300-400K for a proper one (nut and bolt) so this one to me seemed like a much better option! Car is in private storage and for serious buyers, welcome to come see it/drive it in person (photos don't do it justice).
