I believe the cloth is a more comfortable seat, I just felt like I was perched on top of the leather, instead of nestled in, but that's an individual thing. Don't get too hung up on a detail like that; I think there are more important things to focus on.

I notice you're in Adelaide Mr Wombat. I bought one about 2 months ago from Northshore in Sydney, flew over, drove it back. No issue with the ID check and transferring rego (except the stamp duty! $$$$!). Car was exactly as Ben described, and he gave good directions on public transport to get to him, and picked me up from the ferry.

When I looked around, there just weren't enough around in Adelaide to get what I wanted. I would have no hesitation buying from interstate again.

Whilst I like Legnums, an M35 Stagea will shit all over the two cars you mentioned.... unless you want to tow something

Legnums that bad? I thought they're a bit faster/better handling out of the factory than the M35's, no?

NM35 will be a minimum of 8 years old.

There will not be many with under 50,000kms without being wound back.

They are generally very reliable cars.

Only thing that definitely will die is the turbo.

Any Nissan dealer will get parts in for you, but it is definitely easier if you DIY or have a mechanic/dealer that actually enjoys what they do and will take the time to figure stuff out.

As a point of reference, the only failures I have had have been the turbo, passenger side front wheel bearing assembly and the radiator.

Not bad considering I have just passed 215,000kms and mine is a 2001 build (one of the earliest batches).

i rekon they are reliable too

mines done a radiator (seal, not cracked) transmission has an issue but its a known fault normally fixed in japan. my dealer was a d1ck. and the turbo is still going strong at 120+k on the clock!

Gt high performance - kirrawee !!!! Anyone had anything to do with them... I haven't talked to them, just looking online at the moment.....

If you're in the Sydney region I've heard nothing but great things about northshore prestige motors. I would definitely start there.

    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?

    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo.
