i love the result

the only thing thats been bugging me was the blending of teh side skirt into the rear quarter - it doesnt have the stock look to it, and will make it alot of work if the skirt gets damaged

Great job! Havn't seen any R32.4s with this much time, effort and craftsmanship gone into them.

Only thing I could recommend is trying to pickup a keylock for the boot off eBay?

Doesn't even need to do anything, just fill the hole and make it look complete from the back...

"dont forget.. in canada we have the 15 year import rule... so R33's still arnt legal.. we have 5-6 more years before R34's can enter the country"

Well I see you've already sold it, but I just wanted to say this thread has been a real inspiration for my own 32. I was going to just do the R34 front using the OEM style Bee*R conversion fenders, but after seeing you do the rear too, I'm going to follow in your footsteps. Mine will be pearl white though on white 19" TE37's. I also won't mold in the side skirt the way you did, I like the stock look better. Luckily I am in Japan, so over the next year I am going to be buying up all the used OEM parts I can find from Yahoo Auctions Japan, should be able to save a significant amount from what you sent just by not using brand new stuff, and not the Z-Tune stuff either.

This was an amazing build, sorry it got sold. :whistling:

You still in Japan. How goes your search for OEM parts? Did you get your '90 GTR from an auction as well?

I'm thinking about buying a 1989 R32 and doing the MWR34 conversion. Wish me luck. :)

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
