I'm sorry Valentino Rossi...

No need to kick up a full stink, just the way you posted made it sound like you were bragging about knocking over a pedestrian rather than hurt your precious bike.

In anycase, enjoy your Carmageddon, get some practice in for the streets :D

Yeah, will do champ.

Next time you think you've misread something, ask me to clarify. Instead of you kicking up the stink first eh? :(

Butting into something that has nothing to do with me

Yeah it f**ks me off when dudes dont pay attention when they walking - everytime Ive had a near miss with a human, my heart jumps into my throat and I have to suppress the urge to vomit

that said, if someones a dumbass and walks in front of my car, im going to brake and swerve and do what i got to, to minimize damage to them and myself

Ive been dumb enuff to be hit by a car before and man, it really f**king hurts. you bleed from every orifice for several days, get covered in a square kilometer of bruise, and it hurts just to take a shit.

nobody DESERVES that. i can agree with rubys sentiment, that if yr an idiot u deserve to get hurt, but I dont agree with proceeding heedlessly just to prove a point.

when i was 14 and I got hit from a dude at 40 kph, that dude was on the phone every couple of days to see how I was, and I was telling this cat not to worry cause accidents do happen

Shit happens. Faeces occur. However if I could nudge a dickhead without causing them harm, I probably would by principle - and therein lies the conflict

not taking any sides here, but in a car you can turn the steering wheel 45 degrees in a split second just before impact......you try that on a bike and you go high side over the handle bars with every chance of spearing the ground head first :)

thats why i stick to cars and not bikes ;)

my balls arent big enough to provide star trek-like inertial dampening and testicular shielding

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
