Hey guys

Im looking at some new rims, they come in 18x10 +18

Now my question, will that be too big for the car? Ive heard before that 9.5 is the largest you can do on an R32 GTR, but for some reason R33 and R34 GTR's can run bigger ones

Has anyone got any info or experience lately?

Id be putting 245's on them

Cheers

I am sure that I have sen 10.5's on an R32 GTR. I have also seen 11's on the rear and 10.5's on the front on another car that was also lowered. Not sure on the offsets though, but am definitley interested in the results.

im running 18 x 9.5, +22 atmo, with 255's on. seems to sit nice. wouldnt be very nice to lower too much with out rolling the guards. but i do want to get some slightly smaller

i have seen...well dam sure i have seen 10's and 10.5's on 32 gtr's in mags and stuff

245 is really small on a 10" rim. we run 245 on 8"

but since wheyn do you have a 32 gtr?

Yeah i like a bit of stretch

Ssshhh, its secretly for my supra

justinfox uses ce28s 18x10.5 +20ish offset.

Would require some squeezing in, massaging the guards, camber.

Thanks for that

Hopefully he will see this thread soon :D

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
