Saw jlnewton on Corro drive today at around 3pm.....I was in "the blue car" (as a passenger of course).

Tried to catch up but traffic was too heavy and we had to turn off to go to the Wesley.

Yep, was heading North about that time, think I might even recall seeing the "blue" car trying to get through the traffic

Doesn't matter my one just nearly joined your car in R34 heaven! Some woman on a roundabout thought she'd turn right from the left lane while I was next to her!

Lucky it's a nice dry day, or she'd have had a new R34 shaped suicide door on her Tarago.

i saw a couple of skylines over the weekend... i saw a silver four door on friday maybe, looked pretty stocko i think... geez i can't even remeber where, damn.. i have to slow my weekends down a little... :D

I have finally graduated to actually owning a Skyline now. My name is Damien Choy (but I'm not asian, im black) so if u see a white R34 GT-T with a personalised plate 'CHOY' and a black person driving, its my car and its not stolen. You'll see me around the south side or in the city. Hope to cyaz on the next cruise.

Hahaha that's the funniest thing I've heard all day!!! Sounds like something out of Bad Boys..."don't be alarmed, we're Negro"

Welcome to the gang champ :D

TEKNOMAN - quite possibly i was cruising through there.. i can't remeber where i saw it though...

last nite was a skyline extravaganza!!! :headspin:

i saw a white r34 pulling out of a driveway on trouts rd at aspley and then a little after on my way to the gym i saw the white "driftking" r33 and r32 from jamboree cruising along becketts rd at bridgeman downs and i gave them a wave.

there were skyline bogans everywhere...

I saw a grey 32 with xxx-HAT working on the lane widening of the bruce highway, about 2pm.

I saw a white 33 on the gateway bridge yesterday arvo (6:00'ish I think?) driving like a hoon, I tried chasing but alas a fully laden van is slower than a gtst.

I saw a blue R34 with the plates 'GTR 1' at aspley about 2:30pm

I saw a black 32 turn from logan into nursery this morning about 7:30am

I saw a silver 33 yesterday about 1pm in the bunnings mt gravatt carpark. It had an SAU sticker.

Hmm I see heaps of skylines during my travel. I'd need an unlimited space and traffic blog to keep everyone updated on how many I see :P

    • Just a thought, was that car and auto at any point of its life? If so, maybe whoever bridged the inhibitor switch/circuit did a not so good job.
    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
