just saw on CH10 news of this Photo blocker spray...apparently this thing actually works that the police here are TRYING to ban it.....not yet though. Most they can do now is issue you a $75 fine if you are caught using it;)

yeah my boss used to have the film you put over the plates and he got caught by the coppers for using it. But its only a $75 a no points so its worth a try!!

does it work just on aluminium plates - or will it work on polycarbonate like mine?

they showed on 10's late news the differance before and after and it did work. Also its been tested by US police forces who want to get it banned.

Hmmm... looks a lot to me like enamel gloss spray... that'd end up being very glossy as to reflect the camera's "flash"

But guys, if u spray this stuff on, does that mean at nite your licence plate will be totally unreadable? Cops would pull u over in an instant...

no, I think it works on the flash.

which means that it wont protect you against nite-time multinovas, which use an infrared scanning beam.

Either remove the plate or get one of those poly carb ones that are reflective at 12 degrees.

There was a big article about this spray a while back in one of the import car mags. Basically summed it up by saying "waste of money"..

i only got the red light wen i was flashed the other nite hopefully the fact it was dark. raining and my plate was slightly bent may hav got me off but it got me dead on:(
