My novice comps are open to everyone, no Fed affiliation needed, no special clothing, no matter where you train. In fact, most lifters train elsewhere as my guys are mostly GPC members and no longer do Novice Comps

The GPC comps I hold require you to be a GPC member and wear a soft suit. They are sanctioned and National Records can be broken

ProRaw events are elite and a lifter must qualify during the year. If you guys are curious as to the standard

Thanks Nick

Noone has said i have big hands before, I think it's the position my hands and camera when taking selfies that makes them look big, but thank you for making me feel self conscious about them

I have a 17yo boy training here. He joined PTC after we moved, so around 6 weeks ago. He had been training at Jets 24hr, so no squats or deadliest, just curls and benching.

Max has had him on the Beginners Workout, coming 3 x week.

Tonight we tested his 1RM's. He weighs 75kg and is 185cm.

Squats, he managed 105kg, goes quite deep

On the bench he got 75kg

He just deadlifted 150kg

Six weeks of training on the basics. Being a young novice lifter, we didnt push him like a seasoned competitor, but these numbers are okay for a schoolboy.

He seems to have been bitten by the Ironbug though, he normally trains with 2 other school friends, they went to a party tonight, he went to the gym first

Thanks Nick

Don't take it seriously, I just couldn't miss the opportunity to have a dig at Birds;)

Markos: that kid doesn't know how lucky he is... hope he keeps up with it

Exactly what it's title suggests...? One of the reasons I get the shit's when people bitch about this thread - it's a f**king discussion thread, we'll ramble however we wish.

Shut your filthy whore mouth.

Trozzle is such a power bottom

Thanks Nee-san I just spilt coffee all over my keyboard :rofl2:

Has anyone given Dorian Yates Blood and Guts Routine a crack? I have found I am a heck of a lot more sorer after it than the Jim Stoppani 12 week Challenge I was doing.

I had a mate reccomend me a program with 'swole' in the title the other day lol

I do find it amusing how Bodybuilding.com have all these plans on their website (that naturally include an entire stack of 10 or so supplements for a beginner), yet they get ripped to shreds on their own forums!

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
