people are more annoyed when they hear an alarm. its like the boy who cried wolf i guess.

Agreed...

Car alarms are just like everything else these days, with all the visible crime that happens - only a small minority of people are willing to involve themselves in such injustice towards others - and car alarms are bloody annoying!!

At least the alarms are still useful for deterring thieves when they are in your car, panicking with adrenalin. I can bet that if my alarm was not going off when my car was broken into, i would have lost much more than some spare change and my freaking ash tray.

Anyone got a 32 ashtray for sale btw?!

I think Commodore owners cop it alot worse.

Oh well these days thanks to the media, anything that's got even a hint of modification is a hoon car.

We're all essentially in the same boat really.

Wog stop your moaning and get back to work.

If i saw you in the street id give you a serve as well just for driving a R33 :P

On a lighter note we need to catch up for a beer...

So i can slap you for selling the bike!!!

its all cars in general not just skylines or holdens

has any1 seen that anti speeding add on tv with the xr8 doing a skid n the vl slideing around the corner.... funniest add ever because its anti speeding but no1's actually speeding LOL shows u how dumb the politions are, half of em couldnt even tell the difference between a commodore n a skyline

Old people just like to complain, besides anything sounds loud when compared to a grandpa's Camry.

I think there is a lot of people out there that don't do any young people any favours.

For example P Platers these days, any one who has P plates is portrayed by the media as hoons or casualties waiting to happen.

I had one Young guy in particular in my street that liked doing doughies on my neighbours lawn and burnouts in the street at any where from 10pm - 2am in a 180SX. It's guys like this that spoil it for everyone - old guy hears or sees an import an automatically it's assumed that this guy is a lunatic like the clown before.

The young guy got caught doing a burnout - drunk, whilst on a suspended licence for you guessed it DUI - He also tried to be a bogan hero and punch his way out of it - needless to say he is very well behaved now.

theyre just pissed cos theyre to old to drive it properly and want to vent at someone .....but young enough to still have enough faculties left to get frustrated at the aproach of the grim reaper......lets face it it you learnt to drive inthe kinda tin boxes they had 40 or fifty year ago youd be jealous too....

ive already promised myself that when im old and grey and need the walking frame and stick...every time a car goes past with a decent note tothe exhaust im going to pause and remember that skyline smile........far better imho that pishing it up the wall of a friday night .......

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
