Hey guys (and gals),

What should i put into the car to make it feel italian?

Got idea after seeing Isotta Sterring Wheel (Katiena series)...

Would love to have a tan leather interior also....

Is there a way to mod air vents into those cool alfa romeo ones? Or plaster the dashboard (somehow) to create swoppy surfaces?

What else should i do? How can i do them?

leather.. deh or leather smelling smelly shit.. lol

full retrim

What are you on about with the "deh or leather smelling smelly shit"? Otherwise i would do retrim if i could learn the skills, otherwise it costs way too much... maybe in 5 years when i have a decent salary. For the meantime, seat covers will have to do... or just leave the seats are get all the other retrims.

Loosen off various screws so bits can fall off while you're driving

LOL.... ok maybe i should rephrase that.... looking italian, but having japanese reliability.

trying to make your car something it isn't is lame......

Wtf. Ummmm... this is a MODDING forum... and people here are into MODDING.... I.e. making the original car into something it wasn't in the first place (for good or bad). What are YOU doing in these forums if you aren't making something your car isn't?

Besides i just want to make the interior feel italian... the exterior will be the usual bodykit... was thinking Zenki 4 dr bodykit... looks manga outside, feels extravagant and passionate inside.

Install a large woman with facial hair in the passenger seat?

Just a thought :D

ROLFMAO :laughing-smiley-014:

that isotta steering wheel looks exactly like mine, and it doesn't look out of place at all. only thing i don't like about it is you can't roll your hand over the edge of the steering wheel when doing a >90 degree turn cause of the shape, but meh

howabout retrimming the whole interior in AC milan colours ? or maybe a Juventus banner hanging from the mirror ? a few italian stickers on the windscreen may also help, Scuderia veloce or something like that..

Or he could put an Italia soccer scarf on the parcel shelf and/or on the dash. So replace my early comment about the fluffy dice to the soccer ball off the mirror.

Don't forget a picture of the 'Azzurri' on the rear window...

Maybe some dried sausage or a leg of proscutio in the glovebox...

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
