Great turnout last night. Once again I was doomed with the RE dyno.

Seemed my car had a bit of an overfueling issue and decided to make itself known in front of everyone at the most imopportune moment. Still made 317awkw @ 5000 @ 17psi so signs were good of a decent number.

Fingers crossed Ray can diagnose the problem and have it back on the road ASAP. Thanks to all those who helped push it off the dyno and try to push start it. You guys were ace... until you all say Gorjan's Cossie out the front.

Hmmm they were probably guys from hpi so I guess most of the pics wont be seen till next issue.

What a massive turnout! Thank you to all who came down on the night. I think that was the biggest turnout I've ever seen at a dyno night. Great to see everyone was well behaved.

Thanks to local police for their presence and cooperation on the night.

Thanks to all the RE Customs crew who helped out keeping the dyno runs going back to back and managing the traffic outside.

Thanks to CarX Australia for providing the PA equipment, the banner behind the dyno, and pumping the music between dyno runs. http://www.carx.com.au

Thanks to HP Heaven for coming down to film the dyno runs. There will be some video on http://hpheaven.com.au

And last but not least, thanks to the Ignition DVD guys for coming down to film the night, will be appearing on Ignition DVD in a couple of months time. http://www.ignitiondvd.com

Thanks Kim ;) I was having a bit of fun up there

Matt: "next up is Dezz, his R33 GTSt is tuned right here at RE, and he's a member of skylines australia"

Dezz: "mumble mumble... banned member of SAU!"

gold!

my car made most powerful rb20det and most powerful r32 gtst

go me

and only 7kw's less than Pete's RB25 of immense proportions.

Aww... ...They misspelt my name... :P

Oh well... ...I've only got my messy handwriting to blame...

And I thought that there were more cars on the Dyno than that...

how much power did dezz;s "built and tuned RE " machine make?

You illiterate or just an idiot?

FYI it made 243rwkw (previously 257rwkw on the same dyno) and was the most powerful RB25DET on the dyno that night....most powerful non GTR skyline too...

I find it odd that I made 50 rwkw less that what I have on several other occasions.

Maybe the strapping was wrong.......

117 mph at the end of the quarter says it all.

What about lthl's car? his wasn't on the results sheet for some reason. I think he got around 245

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
    • Trailer got new mudguards to accommodate the new wheels Lightweight ally Painted, stickered and done ✅ 👌
    • Did you hit up the search function? R33 and greddy and cable returns this thread with some options.   https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/358214-rb25-throttle-body/
