sorted out the rear brake disks - gong alloy hat with standard handbrake - prob end up with 330-343 rotor on the rear

front should be able to take a 343 or 350 mm rotor - this will depend on the internal clearance of the work meisters

Enemie - you'll need to decide what rotor size you want to run then get an adapter made to suit.

Specialised Brake and Clutch in Penrith is hooking me up with the brackets and everything i need.

343mm seems to be the largest rotor the front caliper can handle without machining the the ends for rotor clearance - pad position is only a couple of mm above the rotor edge on the 355mm

Enemie - if you are really keen pm with the cars details and the rotor size you want, i'll see if i can get a bracket to match machined to suit your choices and car

well turns out im running 2 piece 355mm rotors front and rear

rear calipers are being spaced wider to allow for a thicker rotor on the rear to bring it back to an easily obtainable non custom rotor

what thickness are the rotors?

can get this stuff tomorrow - basically letting them take the head on this one, im just doing to coating on the parts as they finish them and since this isnt a retail purchase i cant tell you any prices.

i was expecting the rears to be 343mm but when they arrived for me to coat i realised they were the same as the fronts

think i recall that the hard annodised alloy hats for the rear end are over $900 a pair

- obviously a single piece rotor could be used

yeah - but not sure when it will be finished lol

this is being done in spare time as a favour kind of thing - so its not getting a high priority

only thing left was the rear brackets and caliper spacers (to fit the rears over wider disks)

then get the calipers back for me to coat then back to them to check in case a rebuild is required.

What are you guys paying (roughly) for adapters/dogbones to adapt the evo brembo's to skyline hubs?

Who has a good 355mm rotor/adapter combo they can share?

Cheers

Justin

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
