Skizo,

I need to order some parts form Nissan to fix my rear axle clicking noise and have the following parts from a US site.

Any idea if these are the same numbers I can go to Nissan Aus with?

43210-AL505 Bearing Assy rear

39211-73L00 Axle Outer Joint Assy

39241-73L28 Repair kit, Duct boot outer

Cheers

Bobby

Hey mate,

Can only find full details on the first part. The other two it actually does accept the part numbers but I can't pull up any details on them. Not sure what that means as I can't read Jap. Best to call Nissan spares with those numbers, they'll tell you if they are available.

Here's the section you're looking at anyway:-

Thanks mate,

That's the part. Wanted to make sure that the US part numbers are the same and they seem to be. Now to give Nissan a call :-)

Cheers

skizo,

from the FAST will you be able to check the part number and if the cruise control button can be purchased separately or comes as a set with the audio buttons?

it's the one numbered #5 below.. the right hand side. Thank you!

I found it, but where there is normally a part number there is a star and some Japanese next to it. Translation please? Might be in another section. Who knows where the other Cruise Control modules are located/look like and I'll take a look.

Oh and who wants a factory MOMO steering wheel? :D

do u have one? All the ones I've seen have the part woodgrain handle..which I'm not keen on.

run this VIN - factory momo wheel with airbag.

NM35-319191

seee if there are SWC controls for it.

the deviation on the cruise buttons is the radar cruise vs std.

Here are the options that came with this particular one.

Looks like all the part numbers and SWC options for these cars are the same numbers as the V35 one I posted above.

hi skizo,

i have a request for you if you have time..

can you do a search for a replacement 2003 coupe seat?

i'd be interested to see i the seat is different between the normal coupe and the 70th anniversary coupe that had the heated seats

what i'm really trying to find out is if the seat is the same or different and thus if the normal seats have the heaters already installed in them or not

i've just come across some info on G35driver that apparently the non-heated seats in the USA were all pre-installed with heaters in them as there was only one type of seat that could be bought, thus making the heaters work was simple wiring

cheers,

Warren

Do you have a link Warren?

I was reading G35driver only a couple of days ago about this, and I think it was stated that heaters were not installed on all seats. Would love to find out.

Thanks mate.

I can tell you that teh wiring is there for them. both under the seat and in the centre console. dont have time to rip a seat out ( I have two cars here now) to prove the seats.

Thanks for that Chris. If possible would be great to get it working.

Hopefully as easy as Warren said.

Sorry guys, lifes been a bit hectic for me recently. So i'll catch up when I can.

Just wanted to let you know that I got my hands on a recent version of the US version of the program, so it has all the G35 data in there, so can actually understand some of the writing now! :P

Some part numbers are the same, others are not.

This one is available for you too if you know where to look. Don't ask me.

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
