did he find the unit under the bonnet or your control unit was easily visible

He found the blitz solenoid under the bonnet.

So yep, i'll be driving a suzuki swift with shot brakes, bad steering and about 20% tyres.. but so long as my skyline's out of action that'll keep public safety up. Nice one sapol.

Driving in my little wiked Holden Cruise

Spotted two guys in a silver stock R34 on South Rd.

Wanted to try drag them in my little wiked 4clinder banger haha but then they boosted off lol

spotted a sweet white 33 with very nice kit and rims on cheltenham parade and turned onto torrens rd proudly supporting a SAU sticker in rear quarter window. i boosted past you in my 32 and was followed by a slammed as hell maroon 33 on stockys tryin to keep up.

not overly a fan of the 33's but the white one looked the piece.

saw VANGE last night on anzacs about 11ish i think it was. Looked very confused to see a guy in a falcon waving at you, i was trying to point to the sticker on my rear 1/4 window, you got it eventually lol.

cheers thanx for that. exhaustis a bit quiet for my liking but it attracts enough cop attention as it is.

the power well its not to bad. always love more but im sellin it so yea. puttin another turb on it soon as im sick of that one and its a lil sick itself, hense the smoke on gear change.

i turned off cause of that cop for sure and then took it easy.

god i hate cops.

saw a white 32 with white impuls and a SAU sticker on rear 1/4 window at TTP on friday night, ABSENT maybe?

3 32's at marion, one stockie looking gun metal with rims, had plates HURRYUP

Another gunmetal one, lowered on stockies still.

And a white 4 door next to it with a badge that said GTR powered. Was 4 stud but had front mount so possible 26 conversion? Also had rims.

Spotted a silver R32. Had black rims crossing the bridge at Port Adelaide from Victoria Rd. We we're both staring at each other to try and see if we recognized one another haha

Actually, I think it was Min_R32

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
