Well I did know a couple of the Miranda Security guys...But they seemed to be pretty honest normal kind of guys. These carparks attract massive amounts of car theives. We even had a honda CRV spare wheel theif at the centre I was working for a while....But we caught him red handed. For those that dont know Honda CRV comes with the spare on the outside and the spare itself is one of the alloy wheels. So this dude would come in and steal one .When he had a set of 4 he would sell them as a set

As they were the spare they were seldom used so they were always in immaculate condition. He would get top dollar for them. I think to purchase new they are a fortune. Some of the Centres do have security roaming the carparks...Its just that some are better than others...But I will keep an eye out for this car...

I was looking for a new job lol cheers

the funny thing is most of the dodgy people i used to see at blacktown station were always shaking hands with the security guards.

One of things that make you go 'hmmm'

Feel your pain and been looking for you dude! I saw one almost the same from a distance parked yesterday so I parked illegally and jumped out to take photos, wasn't until I got close that I realised it was a Tommy Kaira instead.

Anyone go to burwood recently? La hoods shaking hands with security, places robbed and police turn up before security..

Hello!?

Heres one that may surprise you....At Burwood too...just a few years ago several of their security got arrested for armed hold up of the shops in their proximity.Apparently the guys ran away from the scene still wearing the pants with the company logo on the back pocket. I know for a fact at least one of them got jail time.i know a few of the others lost their security licence and their job over it. True story....I knew some of these clowns....really surprised me

i received a phone call yesterday, with a strange voice

he said he know where my car is , somewhere near either bankstown or blacktown, i didn't hear probably, but he said thats all he can tell me and he cannot say anything extra, then hung up

so i don't know where i should start searching from

The police can trace the number.. Well they will try and ring the phone company up etc

BUT WTF!! how does the theif know your number?

Unless he reads the forums and you posted it up?

Either that or could be someone you know?

Or the friend you having troubles with or something?

Blacktown eh ? I will keep an eye out in that area as it is close to where I live..Bankstown would be a better bet..If it was an HSV Commodore I would say Blacktown for sure...I keep all eyes out for this car...I got a strange feeling you will get it back..lets hope so

To the person who ring me up on sunday morning

please ring me again and say where my car is, i will not asked anymore question, i just want to know where the car is

and to be notice i will offer some money to get my car back

Are you seriously slow? Its bankstown mate, Commonly known for being the strip shop of sydney.. I would get there asap and check the back streets next to the stations and back lanes.. They always dump them there.. I dont often see skylines dumped tho..

They dont hang around long

Name-calling is a bit over-the-top, Nathaniel, so please remove it and think before you type.

It's far from nice, and if you hadn't added any info on where Silver-Darkside should look, nor would it be helpful.

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
