ausgtr
http://www.smh.com.au/news/motors/godzilla...5125880568.html Would be great if they lured him away from Porsche. Nissan makes a 911T beater then steals their main driver from under their noses. lingeringsoul
I just want to see it woop the v8 asses again. I wish we could have a "you're all pack of arseholes" for the hole decade hahahaha Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/210054-richards-to-possibly-drive-the-gt-r-again/#findComment-3713717 Share on other sites
sewid
Yeah I doubt it... Nissan probably left him a voicemail and he didn't return their calls. sav man
I doubt Jim will go back to Nissan, he's too involved with Porsche in things outside rallying. scathing
Yeah, stealing Jim Richards away from Porsche would be quite a coup. I just can't see it happening, unless Richards thinks he's achieved everything he can with Porsche and wants fresh challenges. Just sounds like typical pie-in-the-sky dreaming from Nissan Australia. They might as well say they've given Mark Skaife a call and "they're discussing it, but he's involved with HSV". flyingfridge
geez it'd be great if they did. if anyone else drove a factory backed car at Targa it just wouldn't seem right! R338OY
I think he's had enough of being hated. Can't wait for the Sydney Motor Show. Last year's was sh!t and this time they should have some definite R35 specs. I'd much rather the Whites did it. They've got Targa experience and they've been campaigning an R34 well after Jim decided to go devote a lot of his attention to Porsche. Duncan
I'd be happier if I drove it than the Whites. I've driven a GTR at Targa after they defected to Lambos Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/210054-richards-to-possibly-drive-the-gt-r-again/#findComment-3714786 Share on other sites
ras1983
Who knows what Richards will do if Nissan throw enough money at him. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/210054-richards-to-possibly-drive-the-gt-r-again/#findComment-3714932 Share on other sites
d0p3y
well, since it sounds like they're going to make a massive profit due to overpricing here in Aus, they may very well have the budget to lure him away from Porsche. I'm doubtful though. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/210054-richards-to-possibly-drive-the-gt-r-again/#findComment-3716202 Share on other sites
Himself
I dont care who drives it. As long as they do it justice and finish at the top. Marlin
I'd be happier if I drove it than the Whites. I've driven a GTR at Targa after they defected to Lambos 6th sense tells me they're straight out of a Lambo and into a V-spec as soon as they become available. And you can bet there'll be two.... one for spares YT would welcome it I'm sure after these past couple of years in "The Devil's Skateboard" as he puts it. lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/210054-richards-to-possibly-drive-the-gt-r-again/#findComment-3716655 Share on other sites
Duncan
I agree mate I'm surprised he is not already back in it. like you said maybe they are waiting for the vspec so they don't have to buy 4 of the things lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/210054-richards-to-possibly-drive-the-gt-r-again/#findComment-3717188 Share on other sites
