spotted white coupe with 1 headlight blown... and some kind of a LED strips across the parker and underneath on the bumper?

IMHO it's a bit overdone - the horizontal strips....

that's not you, xscape237 / Brad? saw turning right to Mcintyre rd sunshine

Will be heading over to Sydney tomorrow for work and will be mostly in Chadswood area. Hopefully I'll spot a few nice V35s there as I think based on the forum, it seems much more common on the road vs here in Auckland! :)

Spotted my beloved silver V35 coupe driven away by its new owner, Kevin...

So long, goodbye....

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did over the past 2-3 years, Kev! Take a good care of it and I'm sure it'll find itself a good new home....

Why the sale rianto?

1. Need a car with MINIMUM 4 door, no less.

2. An opportunity has come to do novated lease to get some tax benefit - even if this means gonna be Aust Delivered car only.

3. Best to sell my V35 now before every new kids on the block has one - being rare/exclusive still keep the price up so I would only loose 30-40% in depreciation NOW (if including all accessories / rims added over 2.5 years), rather than 75% depreciation over 3.5yrs that happened to my R33 Gtst 4 years ago.

Thing is I estimated lead time to get a solid sales lead is 3 month, didn't expect the car to sell WITHIN 1 week and now I'm stranded in between getting a new leased car.

also another irony is we were trying to find a new place in Doncaster / Templestowe area but alas the property prices we couldn't really afford finding one worthwhile...

and now my V35 managed to find a new home in Templestowe (where new owner lives)....

does that mean I have to sell myself so I can afford getting a place there?

Shame you had to let it go, but you obviously have good justification for selling it. New owner is lucky with you as a previous owner!

Still welcome on our cruises... we need someone to polish our wheels :D

    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
    • Ahhhh... If you were putting 12V to the led in there, that's likely made it very unhappy. Chances are how you put power, was 12V across an LED that's meant to only have about 20mA through it at peak, and a forward voltage of about 1.8 to 2.4 volts. That circuit is likely only a 3V3 circuit, and will have a resistor in series with the led too. That's my guesstimate on that light, without having touched one.
    • Another vote for installing them and see how you go.  I mean, you already own them, why would you not fit them?
    • I have had too many of those over the years, my cars have a toolkit or at minimum a cheapy multi tool thing because its too easy to be snookered by some stupid plastic clip that stops you checking the battery terminal isn't loose.
    • Basically, if there is a part# on the nissan catalogue, it is a genuine part. There is a thing called "new old stock" which is stuff made years ago but never sold (or landfilled), but it is super hit and miss what you can buy. Other than some expensive Nismo stuff there is nothing new being made that suits these cars. The only time to be a little careful is (mostly in the US I think, but maybe Japan too), Nissan started rebranding some cheap crap maintenance parts like oil filters as "Pitworks"; stay away from them, if you are buying cheap just buy whatever the local car parts shop carries The three part numbers have an explanation on Amayama: 0V005 is auto, base style 0V015 is manual 0V505 is auto, hectic momo branded ones, maximum F&F points there!
