yeh boot drops easy. i would of thought that pressing ur bonnet in the middle would be the best spot... or are you's talking about the actual centre of the bonnet. Im think where the catch lock is put ur hand on that, shouldnt bend huh. I can imagine pressing from one of the font corners, stuff that.

I wana lift up a GTR bonnet now. sounds very lite. I can do shoulder press with my bonnet. Gona open up a new gym, no weights just skyline bonnets. haha

Yeah, I press in the centre as well, but not the centre, middle centre, if you know what I mean. :P

I press it down.

If you press it down where the catch mechanism is, there will be NO dents.

Dropping it just seems lazy and some times it does not always lock in and chances you might break the catch mechanism.

Drop it.

It's hard to press with the same force every time; and pushing that bit too hard will result in a dent.

Whether or not it dents you will end up with finger marks; whether they are noticeable depends on how clean it was to begin with.

Figure out the minimum height required to drop and securely latch your bonnet by starting at a 5cm drop and increasing by

a few cm each time till it latches. Gravity doesn't change by much no matter where you are on earth; so once you figure

the minimum height out it should not change. Lighter bonnets require more height :D

Saliya

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
