there's more oldies behind r33's wheels than r32, but it'll change next yr.

ATM the most popular car for middle aged lankan men with a mid life crisis to buy is an R33 4-Door... coz a lot of em are related to some other lankan who imports em.

age really has nothing to do with anything... its whats ontop of your shoulders that counts :)

good on the older peeps who have lines.. they have taste HEHEH

and the younger p platers well.. cmon we were all that ages once... as long as they arn't tools i have no problem with em :/

Its all relative to where you live if you ask me -

You guys could have neighbours around the corner with these cars and you are seeing like the same handful of cars all the time.

I know I see a white 34 GTT in the city every week but I dont say its common unless I KNOW 100% its a different one each time.

Consider the fact that people who use their skylines for commuting - they are gonna be at the same place at roughly the same time each day and [you guessed it] you are there to witness it again.

Only when you can fully distinguish between each car can you say [effectively] that "they are common" or "there's heaps of X around these days"

blah

I agree with Predator, I just like to drive mine and if I see a few skylines on dandy road [very popular road for traffic :/] or whatever I think - nice :) [better than everyday stuff].

how did you know he was exactly 60

he could have been 59 or 61 ?

No he was exactly 60, and not a day over or under :/ in fact i believe it may have been his birthday. I accosted him when i saw him.. pulled a handbrakey to cut him off in the Falcon .. and i definitely heard him swear "but i'm 60!!!" out the window.. Unfortunately the old man high-tailed it at that point and the slipperly grey little sucka got away :):(

...actually i am sure he was a shadowy underworld figure on his way to a hit now i think about it ..that black attache case gave it away :)

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
