Love your ride its pimp as! I have never seen one that clean before... also really like the fender covers and the wide rims..... do you have anymore pics?

Also love the KGC10 next to it, hopefully I have one sitting next to my DR30 RS-X at the end of the year

That sort of Sky set me on a path. I had an 84 RMR30 for 23 years but the darling just wore out after 600k. Now have an 84 R30 and a C34 Stagea. I wonder what could be next? Maybe a GTR?

That is just unreal.

I am also restoring a c210 (slowly and painfully) and would like to hear about everything that you have done to this car.

I am also just about killing myself trying to get my hands on local/JDM and performance parts for the C210, so obviously I'd be really interested to hear about any bits that you are selling.

thanks for the complements. here are some more pics...

as for the extra parts i'm selling... the past 4 years i've accumulated parts, which after my restoration, i really have no use. i've searched all over and purchased parts from UK and Japan. my contact in japan had contacted Nissan Japan and of course i was given $500 (usd) worth of parts that don't apply to my model (the parts are for the square headlight version). also, a lot of the parts that i'm still searching for are parts that i'm unable to find. if any of you can help, it will be appreciated.

you can see the building process at: www.khgc210.com

ps. the hakosuka next to me is a GTRclone. a friend that shipped the car from japan. as of this date these are the only two classic skylines in the vegas area.

What parts do you still need? You never know - I might have something in the shed.

I don't s'pose you have any of the electric window switches for the C210 - we never got them here. What other parts do you have surplus?

Wow love the new pics, defiantly the cleanest one I have ever seen, congrats on the work you have done, wouldnt happen to have any interior pics for a perve?

I think I have seen some pics of that hakosuka before floating around the net, from what i gather you have a few GT-R Clones in the states? I think the only geniune GT-R outside Japan is in the UK.

Is there much of a skyline scene over there since fast and the furious?

Ain't that a sight of inspiration, I just looked out the window at my decaying, faded 2 door and saw a totally different car. Yes it has the potential to look like that, i just need to throw another 10 grand at it.

Anyway, mate that is one sweeeet lookin skyline, I'm about to purchase my old 280z motor and triple webers, but I think I'll take my time and detail my motor before installation.

There's two items I'm keen to know about and that's the bolt on gaurds and the trunk/boot dam.Are they off another car or manufactured to suit the c210?

Cheers Ricky

i'm uncertain when you say.. "There's two items I'm keen to know about and that's the bolt on gaurds and the trunk/boot dam.Are they off another car or manufactured to suit the c210?"

send me a picture of the area of question and i'll have a better idea...

as for the condition of the car before the restoration...

this is what it looked like in 2004:

i still have a few more new parts to add and research, yet this has been the most difficult project to complete. as an unpopular model to restore, its definitely a project that i will not repeat. in japan the 2 door hardtop model is very limited, yet finding parts for a 4 door is a little more easier. i placed numerous orders to nissan japan and out of 100 new parts i ordered, about 60 of them i was able to obtain.

as for the moment, i haven't taken any new interior shots, but i will post them as soon as i can...

sorry. must be the lingo. Iwas referring to the added wheel arches on the guard (flared wheel arches) and the the black thing on your trunk or boot that creates down force on the rear of the car. Hope this simplifies what I'm talking about. Ricky

the overfenders on the car is made specifically for that model, also the rear rubber wing is also for the C210, which is sold in japan.

For the air dam and over-fenders you can google "yahoo auctions japan" and translate this page or hit www.importmonster.com.au and start searching. The purchase price shouldn't be shocking, but the additional expenses are going make you cry though: Japanese postage + international postage + commission +GST for whoever buys your part in Japan then forwards it to you.

I bought a $17 piece of JDM trim through import monster, but it cost an extra $80 to get it to Australia!

    • sold listed as a Tomei LSD 1.5 Way For 1998+ Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT RB25DE w/Open R200 https://www.ebay.com/itm/174006114594?campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms=&campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=71883f2ccc571356e0a757bc7adfdde2&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms= it went in like butter all gears, alignment, back lash etc, rotation and clearances correct, and if rolling all rotates smooth and free when coasting down road , clutch in or out over 10 mph smooth... its the binding, clunking and jerking from a stop that is most concerning, also seems like its going to tear the tires off in 10 miles of normal road driving.
    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
