thanks for all the comments :D

not that many r32 gts-t here in sweden....

the bodykit takes some time to get used to, but hence i'm not a good photograf the pictures doesn't give a true picture of the car, looks MUCH better in reality :(

the next thing that i will buy for the car (exept getting the tires on the rear wheels so the car will have the same wheels as it is in the front) is a LED lightbar, much be able to look more like a policecar and if someone hade missed it at the shows (if possible) they won't after that :)

the night streetraces will be fun when i arrive..... "the police is comming, lets get out of here" MOHAHAHA

Looks fantastic mate, good work! I'm a bit iffy about the rear bar, but hey, if your happy with it thats all that matters. the whole Jap Cop theme is sooo good! Are you doing anything else to the engine, suspension, and brakes?

akeenan the "japanese text" will be replaced with the real japanese text for Tokyo Police, the grapics guy couldn't open the data file i gave him, and as usual was there "plenty" of time before i needed the car :D

the text on the doors will be 東京 (Tokyo) 警察(Police) but with a more bold text that is on the doors right now....

NA_Goodness the suspension is HKS coilovers, and a front strutbar will be there aswell.

the brakes will remain standard to start with, perhaps groove them and put on better callipers (think that is the right word)

the engine will get a light tune.

r33 turbo (with steel impellers not ceramic)

444 gtr injector

wallbro fuelpump

perhaps a remap or another box

aldready have:

FMIC

3" exhaustsystem

3" downpipe

Oilcooler

think that will do something to the performance...

when i get back from work (work in a different town from where i live at the moment) on wensday will the trunk get some attention.

the sound installation will start with sound deathning the entire boot incl. the trunklid.

the installation will be clean with the amps visable and the fuses seen behind some glass (that easily can be removed to be able to change them)

the trunk will either be covered with black vinyl or grey carpet that looks like the standard covers in the trunk.

Very good theme and the headlights turned out mad. I thought the wider guards are supposed to be vented near the doors though? You should have cut the holes for them. I hate when body parts are made to look vented but arent. Bonnets are big offenders of this.

the next thing that will be done on the car is that i tomorrow will start building the audio installation in the trunk, will keep it simple.

and also sound deathen the trunk.

have finally found the LED lightbar that i have been looking for :)

a proper police car must have a lightbar :D

The clear headlights covers can be bought from ebay.

Also with the LED tail lights, he is going with LED lights on the roof so the tail lights will suit the theme.

how hard are they to chuck on(what's involved)? ive never really tried to take the lenses off my headlights so not too sure how hard it is.

It's not too difficult.

Smash your glass lense, use a heat gun to heat the silicone one area at a time and then pull the glass out.

DO NOT heat the whole unit (or attempt to) and take the glass out in one piece. You'll melt the housing.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
