Full monty clutch, hope it handles...

all the work is either getting done by myself or a good friend who works for ricky stephans (some people would know that name in the drag racing scene)

top guys to deal with though, and close to my work, so we can transport gear to them easily. got to love trade discount lol.

WELL.... After a few years, career change, city move, and a give up all together on this motor, it is finally running!!!

its been that long that i hardly remember all the parts used!

ill try and upload some photos but currently without a good tune its just pushed out 424.6HP on 13psi. im now running it in and will go back in 2-3 weeks for a proper tune at 13psi then a 20 and a 25... getting talked into a E85 tune also haha.

PLEASE ask me any questions you can think of and il try and get the spec's/answers.

Car has been sittin for that long that the front coilovers have seized and the rears have leaked and bounce away...

Just ordered a new set of coilovers, slotted rotors and new brake pads.

kind of surprised that after all this time the tyres havnt got flat spots or the car hasnt fallen apart with rust...lol

Wanted to go the 42R but i thought it would be to laggy, got a 35R on it now, but it builds boost from 2500rpm and full song so early...

ill see how it feels after the run in and tune and ill decide if i want to throw a 42 on it. :D

It's a 6boost one, ill try and get some better pics of it if you like.

Looking forward to getting it out of the run in tune tho, quite heavy on the fuel at the moment to be on the safe side.

yeh it was down there, looking pretty sad on the outside hey!? cant wait to get rid of those damn doors haha

Yeah...going to have to agree with the doors. Rims could do with a change too, engine is a keeper though.

Then again, I need a new engine and would be more than happy to take it off your hands lol

yeh, well picked up the car as a 5sp manual rb20det for $2200, then $2000 for bodykit/paint/tint, and the wheels were a straight swap for my standard gtst rims.

so ive spent the money on the motor and now everything can be worked up to go with it :)

been a budget car untill it come to the motor.

Sleeper as hell man. Also a owner of a R32 Gtst, just had the engine kill itself so a 25 with a plazman plenum and some other goodies will be calling the engine bay home soonish care of Trent and the rest of the Mercury guys.

Nothing but good cars rolling out of there, my mates S13 (PRN 13) is down there atm receiving a new engine and fuel system.

    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
