hmm rb24? stroked bored rb20 block? can't really help you there. have to find some one with the same hieght block.

rb24 is the same sized block as a stock rb20, jsut different rods, pistons and crank

take the addaptor off and weld on the T4 flange..its way too high man dont like the chances..

yea have been thinking about that, then just die grind the angel onto it, figured it would only save me 15mm or so

or you could get rid of your power steering and put the turbo up front and have a rather wild manifold piping setup lol.

has been done before :S quite a bit acually.

going to be veeerrrry close to the bonnet mate

my gt3040's oil feed JUST clears the strutt bar going over it with alowance for engine movement i've attached an image to give you an idea of how high yours will end up

AD4M, could you do me a favour and measure the distance from the top of the engine bolt hole i nthe mount to the highest point on the turbo to give me some figures.

i have got a highmount on my rb20 as well and that sits very high as well not alot of room there but mine does fit and mine sits up near on the same high as yours,it will go right near ya strut tower if you have got a strut brace it wont fit cause ya turbo will get into the way as well. just make sure when ya put ya pipe into the turbo that the bolts dont hit it as well cause i ahd to stuff around with mine for a while. sweet looking set up good luck

ok did the measurement , from the top of the bolt going through the engine mount it comes back to 440mm to the highest point of the turbo

Thanks for that AD4M, I will have to put it back in the car and measure it,and put the bonnet back on to see if it will fix. would be interesting too see by how much your strut brace misses your bonnet.

Ok Decided to bite the bullet and put the engine back in the car with the turbo on it to see if it clear... Lets jsut say its pretty dam close.

And don't you hate it when you pull your bonnet out of storage and after rapping it in a doona you find this!!

thats no good

it's going to cook your bonnet. have you thought about lowering your engine mounts just enough to get a benie on there? 15mm should do it and will not affect drivetrain angle to much.

Yea have thought of a few things, a beie should fit under there, have to jack the back of the bonnet up 3 or 4 mm as i didnt put the washer back under the hinges to bring it up level with the guards.

I need to get some flame/heat wrap to put on the under side of the bonnet, any idea where i get it?
