yeh im fine. some how i walk away from it. got the usual black eye and sore as. but im all good cant wait to get my hands on another skyline

Dude!!! Did you have insurance? F#####ck that looks bad. Do you reckon you'll sell parts off it, if so let us know.

well no i didnt have insurance but cause he was in the wrong and a cop saw it happen i coverd. plus it was a big truck company and there excess is $45,000 so they said they would pay me out what ever the car was worth and the mods. i was hoping to sell the whole car as is for about $2000. been told by the truck company that i can keep the car but things could change and they may want to keep it. i doubt it tho. i will keep you informed

I'll sell ya my red 33gtst for 20, owes me 30 grand, (see inset <),got a genuine 54000 k's, lots a mods all done by me, and it will include every part and bolt to put it back to stock....

, or you can have my stock grey one for 7500....

2k for that whole car is a bargain.

should pm the guy who is thinking of doing a rb25 conversion into his r32. this would be the perfect setup for him.

Damn mate, that car is well rooted. Lucky it didn't hit a couple of foot further forward, you'd be nursing more than a black eye!! Really, really glad to hear you walked away from it and that it sounds like you might not be screwed over financially from it - but as Geoff said, get absolutely EVERYTHING in writing, even if they seem like nice guys who wouldn't rip you off it never hurts to keep yourself covered!

      List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?

      @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand

      It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
