to the dude with the foggies on the S1 r33, were they oem or did you put them on yourself?

that was leigh he use to have the r33 4 door but i think he picked it up the other night and the foggies were already on the car. I WANT THEM!!!!!

Great night! First cruise with the club and loved every moment of it! Definately going to attend the east meets west cruise. Hope the guy in the white r33 who got pulled up just after the end of the cruise got away alright.

Thanks for a great night.

that would of been me, when i got the car they were already on, same with my old 4 door 33 (maybe its a n.a thing?).

was a good night! had alot of fun great cruise, i didnt really want to push a 3 day old car much so i sorta was near the back of the group :)

A guy in a white R33 GTR got pulled up on Burwood HWY. I was behind him at a set of lights and a cop car was next to us bout to turn right. The lights went green an he left the lights not to quckly but sort of just enough to get a tiny bit of boost in first then changed to second n just cruised. the cop must've heard him and quickly pulled across from the right turn lane nearly cleaned me up and chaced after him. The GTR wasn't going quickyl so he got behind him then forced him to change through 3 lanses of traffic (built up cos we had all just left the lights) and down a side street. Hope nothing became of it cos he wasn't speeding and wasn't dragging or launching or anything. Only thing he could've got done for would've been mods so hope she was clean.

And now,

Thanks for the cruise wayne it was my first proper cruise with the club and definatly enjoyed it. I had not been through mos of those roads before and loved it. Also is there any chance of getting a bit of an outline map jus so i can make my way back there again. Thanks again for organising everything was great fun.

yeah that was me.

like restless 33 said i wasn't speeding or dragging or launching, it was only the usual breath check etc

so it is all good :)

Well im glad you all enjoyed the night..

It was my first cruise that i had put together. So i will learn by my mistakes.

As it turned out we had 29 cars there were 34 members there and with a few mates that came along

for the ride made about 50 people there on the night..

I took some pics but being night they came out crap.. :)

So if anyone got some good pics put them up...

It was also great to see a lot of new faces there and 4 guys joined up on the night

So to those 4 welcome to SAUvic..and i hope to see you all at a lot more events..

To the girl who turned GREEN and chucked in the car ..Next time bring a bucket.. :ninja:

For those of you who didnt come

We left Pakenham and headed up in to the hills up in to Cockatoo all the way up to the

Warburton Hwy then down the tisties in to Gembrook across to Emerald past a Boose Bus then

Up In to Mombolk up past the Silvan Reservoir then on to the Mt Dandy Tourist road down imto

Ferntree Gully were we finished ..

Anyway as i said im glad you all enjoued it

So see ya all next time..

Wayne

Events Co-Ordinator.

I think they might have just missed us if they head up there now....

We had a cop car pass us when we were parked on the street at 11-12am in gembrook, didn't stop just kept on going. Then passed 2-3 police cars whilst driving, no trouble again.

given recent events with police knowing details of events/meetings, perhaps not post the route taken??

just a thought, might be just paranoid....

yeah we went past quite a few cops, as usual no issues ;) (at least i've never had any issues on an official sau vic cruise)..

30 cars, top effort! Unfortunately I couldn’t make it but I will be about Friday night @ the E vs W meet :D

Hopefully see double the amount of cars there if my suspicions prove correct :)

I can only say paranoia mate, no reason not to go into detail. It'll be in the newsletter anyhow so I don’t see a problem.

And there really hasnt been any recent 'event' other than whats been going on since i first purchased a skyline in 02, Police crack down on hoons, dont hoon and no problem!

Sooner people get over the recent level of paranoia the better as its nothing to worry about as I keep saying, and have said for years :(

dezz i was referring to possible use of the route for later events, of course i know it's been run already

and also referring to the recent Monash debacle which is probably the least hooning type event you could possible have, for goodness sakes, the group ends up eating duck and rice!

just putting it out there, that's all...

    • When I said "wiring diagram", I meant the car's wiring diagram. You need to understand how and when 12V appears on certain wires/terminals, when 0V is allowed to appear on certain wires/terminals (which is the difference between supply side switching, and earth side switching), for the way that the car is supposed to work without the immobiliser. Then you start looking for those voltages in the appropriate places at the appropriate times (ie, relay terminals, ECU terminals, fuel pump terminals, at different ignition switch positions, and at times such as "immediately after switching to ON" and "say, 5-10s after switching to ON". You will find that you are not getting what you need when and where you need it, and because you understand what you need and when, from working through the wiring diagram, you can then likely work out why you're not getting it. And that will lead you to the mess that has been made of the associated wires around the immobiliser. But seriously, there is no way that we will be able to find or lead you to the fault from here. You will have to do it at the car, because it will be something f**ked up, and there are a near infinite number of ways for it to be f**ked up. The wiring diagram will give you wire colours and pin numbers and so you can do continuity testing and voltage/time probing and start to work out what is right and what is wrong. I can only close my eyes and imagine a rat's nest of wiring under the dash. You can actually see and touch it.
    • So I found this: https://www.efihardware.com/temperature-sensor-voltage-calculator I didn't know what the pullup resistor is. So I thought if I used my table of known values I could estimate it by putting a value into the pullup resistor, and this should line up with the voltages I had measured. Eventually I got this table out of it by using 210ohms as the pullup resistor. 180C 0.232V - Predicted 175C 0.254V - Predicted 170C 0.278V - Predicted 165C 0.305V - Predicted 160C 0.336V - Predicted 155C 0.369V - Predicted 150C 0.407V - Predicted 145C 0.448V - Predicted 140C 0.494V - Predicted 135C 0.545V - Predicted 130C 0.603V - Predicted 125C 0.668V - Predicted 120C 0.740V - Predicted 115C 0.817V - Predicted 110C 0.914V - Predicted 105C 1.023V - Predicted 100C 1.15V 90C 1.42V - Predicted 85C 1.59V 80C 1.74V 75C 1.94V 70C 2.10V 65C 2.33V 60C 2.56V 58C 2.68V 57C 2.70V 56C 2.74V 55C 2.78V 54C 2.80V 50C 2.98V 49C 3.06V 47C 3.18V 45C 3.23V 43C 3.36V 40C 3.51V 37C 3.67V 35C 3.75V 30C 4.00V As before, the formula in HPTuners is here: https://www.hptuners.com/documentation/files/VCM-Scanner/Content/vcm_scanner/defining_a_transform.htm?Highlight=defining a transform Specifically: In my case I used 50C and 150C, given the sensor is supposedly for that. Input 1 = 2.98V Output 1 = 50C Input 2 = 0.407V Output 2 = 150C (0.407-2.98) / (150-50) -2.573/100 = -0.02573 2.98/-0.02573 + 47.045 = 50 So the corresponding formula should be: (Input / -0.02573) + 47.045 = Output.   If someone can confirm my math it'd be great. Supposedly you can pick any two pairs of the data to make this formula.
    • Well this shows me the fuel pump relay is inside the base of the drivers A Pillar, and goes into the main power wire, and it connects to the ignition. The alarm is.... in the base of the drivers A Pillar. The issue is that I'm not getting 12v to the pump at ignition which tells me that relay isn't being triggered. AVS told me the immobiliser should be open until the ignition is active. So once ignition is active, the immobiliser relay should be telling that fuel pump relay to close which completes the circuit. But I'm not getting voltage at the relay in the rear triggered by the ECU, which leaves me back at the same assumption that that relay was never connected into the immobiliser. This is what I'm trying to verify, that my assumption is the most likely scenario and I'll go back to the alarm tech yet again that he needs to fix his work.      Here is the alarms wiring diagram, so my assumption is IM3A, IM3B, or both, aren't connected or improper. But this is all sealed up, with black wiring, and loomed
