Other thread got closed so for those interested the seargeant has removed my yellow sticker today after he recieved a copy of my letter.

So there you go, if you get a yellow sticker that is GENUINLEY wrong such as defects listed that are not realy defects (check with pits first if you are not sure) do the following things:

Call the station where the officers who have given you the yellow sticker are based and ask to speak to the officer in charge of them and explain your situation. If that fails:

Write a letter addressed to the officer in charge of which ever department gave you the yellow sticker explaining your situation and make sure you send it via registered mail. Make shure that you put the following line somewhere in it: "I do not wish to make a formal complaint against the officers at this stage as I hope to resolve this matter without the need for one"

And the most importaint bit is never abuse anyone, if you do your chances of getting anywhere dissapear fast.

So there you go, sometimes these things can end well

Seargeant called me today and asked if I could come by so he could have a quick look at the car (I listed my phone number in my letter as one of the means I can be contacted by), he glanced over all the things that were listed as defective on the sticker notice and took the sticker off. Had a chat to him for a while, realy decent guy actualy

Congrats buddy! I bet you're relieved! Did the officer end up giving you some kind of explanation as to why he was "unhappy" with the previous inspection? It's so rare, hearing about officers removing defects that they've issued...big win!

Again, well done!

The seargeant who removed the sticker was the seargeant in charge of the officers who issued me with the sticker. Havent seen or spoken to the officers who gave it to me in the first place since the incident so no explanation given, it realy does not mater though, by removing the sticker they admit wrong doing so thats that.

Im just happy its over with without me having to fork out more $ this time

    • That's one of the reasons I got that breed, they look weird, the other reasons are they small, they are very vocal, and run around like they are on crack, I didn't want a breed that just sits around, these two are like kids on red cordial  My daughter has one, and it's a laugh riot, constantly doing Parkour around the house, sits on her shoulder, plays catch, and constantly runs around the house taking turns chasing the dog around, her Bermese though, just lays around with constant bitch face, and just looks on in utter disgust at the cat and dog playing together

    • It's all about the socialisation of the dogs. In that first 8 to 16 weeks of age they need to be taught to be nice and friendly with everything. That way they generalise it to everything. That said, some days you'll just never beat genetics, but 99% of the time dogs chasing cats is purely lack of socialisation, and then the chasing part can turn into prey drive.
