Do you have lowering springs for the front of a GTR r33? I want to drop between and inch and a inch and a half just at the front.

Do you have these?

If so how much? Delievered to Adel 5093?

And how long would they take to get here??

need some ASAP

Cheers

hi mate

i believe kings make springs basically the same as the whitelines and should be available off the shelf locally or at least easy to get. When i was doing my spring research, the consensus was that the kings/lovells/whiteline low springs were basically the same. correct me if im wrong, as it was some time ago and was in relation to GTS-t not GTR.

cheers

btw, what effect does dropping the fronts only have on handling?

Cheers mate ill check it out

If you do a search for king springs on SAU I'm pretty sure you'll find king springs are a linear spring and whitelines are progressive and I'm sure Sydney Kid will have a preference for whiteline springs due to the progressive quality of the spring... I'm sure I've read him saying that before in other threads when people have asked about king springs.

Please double check me though.

I run king lows with bilsteins and am looking to change to whitelines due to the roughness of the ride I feel would benefit from having a progressive spring to take out that initial harsh feel but keep the mid corner or under pressure firmness, rather than just feeling every little bump in a straight road.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

my advice to you would be to go with a different supplier for anything suspension related. Some people have been promised goods in days and have been waiting for months without any updates on their orders, myself included (almost 2 months now, was told 5 days)

quite funny how he can get away with this and no one has made him sign up to become a trader considering how many of these suspension sets have been ordered thru him.

i reccommend dan at erd for better service and competitive prices email [email protected]

he does suspension packages that are the same or very similar for great prices. and has much better customer service.

SydneyKid is not making much money off the suspension, if anything at all.

Therefore he is not a trader and does not need to sign up as one, he's simply doing group-buys....

EDIT: that said a few months is a long time to wait, I'm sure he's simply busy, SydneyKid has always delivered the good to various other customers, even if it did take an extensive period of time.

bullshit to he's not making money off it.. with the amount of people who have bought these kits.

its a bit like nengun "Shit customer service, Cheap prices, but you will get your parts eventually.. weather its 6 days or 6 months.. who knows were not goin to keep you up to date!"

From memory I think that King springs are progressive and Whiteline linear. Whiteline are also cold-wound so have less sag effect over time.

I think Sydneykid prefers linear springs at least in the front of the Skyline for better steering feel or something like that.

If you are just running Low kinds with bilsteins and it is what 340mm centre to guard then it shouldn't be very harsh. but that is a personal view. Depends on tyre sidewall and pressure too.

Be interesting to hear what you think of th echange. I think you will find the roughness comes from the Bilstein shock more then the King springs you are running. The Whiteline spring will be near enough a similar spring rate, so i suspect its the shock. Also regarding springs beign compressive, don’t forget the springs compress a fair bit simply under the weight of the car so not sure how much gain is to be made from going to a progressive spring (if indeed that is a difference between the Kings and Whiteline springs) that are of about the same spring rate

there both roughly around the same price... i just cant get onto Sydney KId.... and i do need it like ASAP as my car goes in for the wheel alignment in 2 weeks... and i need to fit thme before then . ill leave it as long as i can but might just get king springs on if worse come to worse.....

SydneyKids prices are less than retail, what more can you ask for... And the group buy has more adjustment than the standard whiteline sways and bilsteins. If your buying less than his prices on whiteline gear then I'm sure whiteline or their distributors don't know about it...

I didn't get the group buy gear (I do run whiteline parts and bilsteins though) and have never bought anything off SydneyKid but hell if I'm gonna knock him after all the work he has put into it. So easy to sit in front of a computer and knock people isn't it...

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
