Baron 25, Yeh thats why I would like to look at getting the original bar, as it would add that icing on the cake!

MP_R33, its one of the cars for sure that you either love it or hate it!!

Found out the GTR is not a VSpec, but a special edition Veilside Built GTR.It has the Evolution WideBody Kit, Veilside Exhaust,Veilside Strut Brace and Veilside ECU, Brembos and Nismo LMGT 1 18" Wheels.

Pretty good find I reckon:)

shame it's missing the veilside andrew wheels and the veilside front bar. cars like that are really only worth something serious if they are original. but providing the bodywork underneath the kit is ok it would still be worth as much as a nice clean 32 GTR which is good. I just hope you didn't pay a premium for it.

it certainly is *cough 'different' looking.....

personally though if we are talking veilside GTRs I would only want one of their nicer widebody 32s, or maybe their drag car. some piscs from last time I was there. There is a pic of your kit too (well what it should look like). I took these pics last time I was at veilide in japan. they have probably a dozen or more wide body 32s lying around the place, some just rotting away outside in the back carpark...

this is the one to get really. much nicer wide guards rather than the garish stick on flares they used on the other version.

WOW, that yellow GTR is crazy!! Couldnt agree with your more that they are a better look than the one I picked up, but cant be too fussy now can we:)

Will be looking to source and original front bar to finish it off,I know they are very "cough" different looking, but it looks so much better in the flesh:)

Will post pics up on the weekend after I have spent a few days going over it from top to bottom, and as far as price goes, you wouldnt believe how much I pciked it up for;) The market is crazy at the moment!!

yeah, don't get me wrong. they are still cool. just not really to my taste.

I'm sure you will love it mate, and no doubt it's different from the other masses of GTR. I would definately get the front bar and the wheels to make it sort of complete again.

veilsides shop in japan is awesome and they have some super cool cars there. a friend of mine bought 2 of their FDs that they made for the tokyo drift fast and furious movie. now they were cool!

Oh Shit, that be sweet:)

Yeh I will definately be looking to finish of the package and turn this thing into a great daily driver, power reliability and, I was going to say great looks, but how about we agree with different look!!

I actually really like it and its growing on me more and more, but i also totally get its not everyones cup of tea:)

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
