naa forza 2 is way better than forza 1

the graphics and shiz is way better.

forza 3 comes out next year

forza 2 would be better if it had more things to do up the car

its a mad game 2 bad theres no r33's

what do use think about the game??

Love it!!! Pretty much bought the 360 to play Forza 2...there are a couple of things they could do better, but pretty much my favorite racing game/sim...first game was awesome as well, actually wish they'd brought every track over from it to Forza 2 (except silverstone, hate that track..so hard to see where the tracks going, reckon its something with the permanent overcast day on that track :P).

Can't wait for number 3.

Cheers!

Forza 3 needs adjustable boost, stagered rims and visual affects that actually show what you have modified (cannon exhausts, adding front mounts, etc.).

Plus some Oz tracks wouldn't go astray. Bathurst, the Island etc.

I'd play it if it was on ps2/3 or pc but im not touching a xbox lol

I've just sent my friggin X-box off for repairs. Not happy Jan.

Never had a problem with any Ninnys or PS's.

Bloody Microsoft for you.

S H @ T H O U S E !

i recon you should also have some say in the tuning . like you can stuff a lot of boost up a standard car but it goes bang pretty quickly . and the collisions are tretty basic , should be able to roll cars and lose a wheel and stuff

awsome game, best game for drifting and love how you can make cars and sell them, i sold a bathurst skyline I built the other day for 500K on the auctions  online game play is shit tho, its almost impossbile to get into games without being kicked out by everyone, "oh ur driving jap get out " or " your car is to fast" just crap like that and if u get kicked u have to try search for another track again

Well Forza 3 will have these features:

Highly detailed real-world car and track models (over 400 cars and 100 tracks).

Near limitless customization options for car tuning and custom artwork.

A variety of online community features.

Highly accurate racing simulation including real world damage.

New race modes (drag, drift, oval, point to point racing, etc.)

Powerful assist system to help new players get into the game quickly.

For me 400 cars seems alot but in comparison to the GT series where the car list got to 700 odd (yes they decided to have every skyline), 400 seems small. they need to have a whole variety of cars this is why the GT series was good IMO...

Real world damage??? how far can they go without having the car companies having a big cry and pulling out (that's what happened with GT4 - Polyphony Digital wanted realistic damage modelling but the car companies didn't want it and threaten to pull out because they wanted to keep their car in pristine condition (even for a video-game) as they see it as advertising. Turn 10 got away with it in Forza 2 but the damage modeling was general across the board.

100 tracks - how many tracks is it really? GT does this as well where they count reversed racing track as a track (although it is technically) IMO is should how many real tracks do they have

I'd like to see the R33 Skyline in Forza 2. Also agree with the tuning options mentioned above.

This game is much better with the steering wheel..it's just a shame that Microsoft / Logitech can't come to an agreement (it seems) with supporting the G25! The Microsoft wheel aint that bad, but it aint that great either, not when it comes to a good sim like Forza 2.

Oh and yes I'd like to be able to 'see' the performance modifications like exhaust and engine mods. Not suggesting it being like NFS games with glowing lights and chrome, but rather if you upgrade to a big turbo, it would be nice to see the change in the engine bay.

Having a detailed interior view from the driver position would be sweet too.

    • Have a vb in honour of the car comming back
    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
