Hello, I'm another noob who needs some advice.

I've been a N/A man all my life, love my LS1's. Well my VX SS has grown old on me and

I'd like a change. My brother recently bought a 93 Rb20 GTS, with a few mods. now not

knowing much about how much fun you can have in almost a stock skyline, I was very

suprised how enjoyable it was.

What I'm looking for is either gonna be a GTR or GTST. I'm only looking for a maximum

of 260rwkw's, I'm sure the GTR will produce that will much less mods the n the GTST

but I'm also looking for this to be a daily driver with the occasional track day every 4

months or so. Now remember I'm a noob when it comes to forced induction motors, you

hear storys about this and that about them blowing up, always in the shop e.t.c, but I'm

looking for first hand advice. In your opinions would u think the GTST is capable enough ?

and if so would it end up being cheaper then a GTR with slight mods.

Thanks in advance

that's just typical v8 driver propaganda... basically that's what the holden fanboi's WANT to be true...

i have a 265 rwkw r33 gtst with a 4000rpm powerband of full boost, i drive it like i stole it, smash the limiter and flatshift... it loves it and just keeps on giving... you do have to change the oil (good oil) every 5k and keep your eyes on your temp and pressure guages but that's the same in a performance v8 anyway.

how much do you want to spend?

do you like to go sideways?

250+rwkw is much easier in rb26 form... but they are different cars... totally

    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
