Hi,

You should all have a pic ( not a great one - phone camera ) of the Blitz Boost Controller ( Control Unit ).

At $250 it's a bargain and if you ask anyone from this forum who's purchased from me in the past, I'm sure they'll attest to the fact that I have never sold anything bad :P

Actually neither !

I've just had another look at the control unit and it's called a Twin Solenoid Boost Controller ( not Dual ) Sorry about that.

I can send you a pic if you like. I had no idea there were so many of these things !

RedLineGTR, That's the one !

Has a silver blade style push switch on each side and a dial on each side that detent's in when not in use and the green Blitz logo in the middle with the lights to tell you if you're on high or low boost.

Feeldg, sorry, I'm not getting the best results from this phone camera. I'll try to send it directly from my mobile.

RbHed,

It's a twin solenoid unit 100%. However, I've got a line-up of people who I'm trying to arrange to meet to show them this unit and they all seem very keen so I'm expecting that it'll be sold tonight or by the end of this weekend. ( The only reason I can foresee this not selling is if people want to haggle on the price ).

Like I said, at $250 it's not gonna last.

If you want to put your name down for me to contact you please PM me your contact details ( mobile preferable ). I'll contact all those who've enquired either way.

hey fat

please call me on 0412 417 579 and we can talk about the unit.

I have a problem with boost moving all over the place does this unit keep the boost at a set PSI ? so does the solinoid move when it needs to to achieve the correct boost level ???

call me bout it.. Thanks

OK,

Contestant number 1 failed to call last night so it's still up for grabs. Here's what I'm planning on doing.

This Saturday morning ( Sat 13/9 ) I'll be at Auburn McDonalds from 11:00 to about 11:45am with the boost controller so if you would like to buy it just be there with the money and it's yours.

For those of you who gave me your phone number, I'll call to make sure you know about this. If there's more than one of you there, the best offer gets it.

Scott.

bump

P.S. I'm sorry I didn't call those of you that gave me your phone numbers but I wrote them down and left the on my desk by accident. I will do my best to call you today.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
