Well as most of you were aware I was after a Yellow GT3 a while ago. I had no luck in tracking it down and had moved on.

But today to my luck I was performing laser duties in same road as I previously got GT3 at high speed in and surprise surprise a bight yellow GT3 with personalised plates goes by at fast speed again. THis time I caught up with him and 35+ km/h over speed limit and suspended driver's licence.

Just wanted to let you know. NO impound but still very satisfied.

I can only support ppl loosing license/cars for doing such stupid things on the streets.

what would be good tho would be to drop off some track day pamphlets to them when they get license back..

might give them a better idea on where/when to hit that right pedal..

keep up the good work

cheers

M

I don't think its fair to judge the driver "a bloody yuppie who think he owns the law" by what car he drives, be it a Porsche, Ferrari etc....Not everyone who drives a Porsche are posh wankers.

Judge the driver by his actions, he was speeding whilst suspended, THAT makes him a wanker.

...And yes i do realise i have a Porsche as my avatar, but it's not like i own one. lol

hey graeme.. you know now that you have to write the report up and the conversation you had with the driver... what if you cant remember what you said.. do you make it up.. caus my mate is being taken into court for driving with a suspended licence and i was reading the conversation and it was nuthing like what happened on the night... the police officer made my mate sound lyk a cocky wanker... and i assume this will play a part when the judge decides what action he takes..

Agreed.

I've seen more Skyline owners drive like wankers than I have Porsche drivers.

no ones above the law...except for steven segal. It was only a matter of time i say.

No ones above the law...exept for cops lol. Cant remember how many times i have seen undercover cops pull a U turn and purposely rip the tail end out with a bit of smoke. (This was after pulling someone over for doing something wrong lol)

Kind of says something to the porsche owner though, if he is constantly speeding that you were able to laser him twice on the same piece of road he deserves to get raped sideways. You obviously cant do anything about the previous offence though can you?

    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items

    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile

    • Ok so i will NEED to have this sensor anyway even with Nistune (or standalone ECU) https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-boost-pressure-sensor-evap-control-system-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-nm35-stagea-pnt30-x-trail-rb25det-vq25det-sr20vet?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqfxX48bW9bEwH62orcNhtBfp7ekAL0C9Ca89ySFGUiBzXfXeze Is this the correct one? And this is only thing i need? No other "things" connected to the sensor or something? I do have the wiring.
