I think you will find the ca/91006 on your dump pipe.

Unfortunately I can't help you with the rest (1. Live in VIC and 2. "Original" exhaust has been thrown out when upgraded).

Worst comes to it, you could always pick up a second hand one via Import Monster. I have seen them sell for $60AU (not including shipping of course).

Sorry I couldn't be much help.

Out of curiosity, which exhaust do you have that got you the defect?

I took the 3 cats of and replace them with a highflow.

Gave the old cats to Ben at North Shore prestige.

He may still have them

I second that...Turbo Back Dump, Cat and Fujistubo Legalis R....and its still reasonably quiet.

Actually, I have the stock dump, Kakimoto front pipe (no cat) to Legalis R.

Absolutely gorgeous sound, quite a bit deeper than just the Legalis from the stock front pipe (which is the setup my mate has).

Not the greatest of shots, but you get the idea.

My exhaust is cracked so i'm about to look into an aftermarket replacement. The rear will be a Fuji Legalis-R but i dont know what to put as a front pipe and dump. Tony, your custom dumps look like the part with having that long secondary outlet (better than the HKS ones). Where did you get that made up if I may ask.

And can anyone recommend a suitable front pipe?

thanks

You will find the details of Tony's dump & front pipe here;

If you want a JDM front pipe, Kakimoto are the only ones that make one.... no cat though.

Ok I just ordered the dump/front combo with metal cat and ceramic coated from Livo Exhaust for $990 fitted, which i find to be good value considering a metal cat alone costs about 400 bucks.

Thanks for the info, it was great help! And thanks for the Livo Exhaust details as well Tony :)

Hey Tony!

Just got the dump and front done including a metal cat on Saturday and I must say, what a difference! Turbo spools up quicker and pulls bloody harder than stock. And I still have the stock cat-back on as well. The Fuji will arrive in Jan so I cant wait for that.

Btw I will have a spare stock exhaust once i get the Fuji. I just cant give you the front part cause it was rooted already.

Been holding off with the gtr due to finances, but now that i've sold one of my cars, it's back on track! ;)

So hopefully motor is coming out over next couple of weeks.

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?

    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
