Custom SKYLINE interiors

Have you got a different interior to the average Skyline.. Can you post some pics of you design/painting/trimming that you have either done yourself or paid a pro to do?

I have almost finished mine and will get some pics up soon :uh-huh:

Good way to custom your interior is to spray the dash surround and gearbox surround silver or what ever colour you want

i think it might be contact stuff that you mould the the dash or whatever you covering??

I've seen people selling carbon fibre, alumunium dash kit, but not red colour, should I do it by myself or just get someone to do it?

No, I didn't buy the carbon dash set I did it myself.

It's actually easy to do, but time consuming

It cost me about $90 for the 2 rolls of adhesive film, I got the stuff from repco.

I just pulled the dash apart, wiped every thing down with alochol and carefully stuck it on.

Took me a few hours though, I didn't want to have any air bubbles trapped under the film, and matching up the joins in the contoured areas wasn't as easy as I first thought it would be.

I have also continued the theme to the doors.

I would love to do that on my car (R32 GTST) but how the hell do you get the dash off? I know how to take the centre console off where the steror is but not all around the steering wheel

well it works on the R33, check there are no screws around/under where you can get it off

also...that interior trimming costed $1000 and its vinyl not leather so its a fair price i reckon..
