i have a t67 i believe with a 8cm exhaust housing and have not been able to find a larger one to suit, you people with td06's do you know the exhast wheel size to compare, mine it 60mm from memory. Im not sure what to do atm as it will spool up nice and early with very little lag but not sure how much it will kill the top end.

Im not sure if the T67 uses the TD06H or the TD06 turbine, or another again. I have often read/seen ppl refer to the TD06-25G as the same turbo as the T67-25G, but there could easily be subtle differences, hence the different designation

What size are you after Clint as i have a 10cm and come the end of the week will know whether i want to go smaller, so may be able to trial fit one anothers and see how they go. I may even like to try the 8cm to see if i make the same top end power but with better response...perhaps telling me that my head, valves (???? i duuno) are more of a restriction then the exhaust housing on an RB20.

i would like a 12cm but a 10 would be ok too, thats why i need to find out if the TD06 has the same exh wheel, the blokes at MTQ said it was bigger than a TD06 and they couldnt find anything suitable in the misubishi range.

My engine is being done on a engine dyno so i dont wont to change it once fitted, so if i cant find something suitable i will just use it, can always add some extra power with Nos for the strip.

i think the 8cm is just another way of saying ar.. type thing.. just find out what a 8cm, 10cm, 12cm is equal to and there is your answer.. 8cm mite be .6 or something??? have a look at the ihi rx6 turbo.. very small exhaust housing but huge comp cover.. spools up at like 2800-3200 on sr20 but still packs enough for 300rwkw+ mite the same deal with your t67 with 8cm housing..

Dotn Apexi use a different convention again?

They typically have a P in front of their housing size referecne, which i think is the A/R in mm^2/mm, where as Garret use in^2/in so a Garret 0.87 equates to about the Apexi P22.

So how that helps me work out the Trust 8, 10, 12, 16 cm^2 housings i dont know ...anybody?

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
