So blunt... Love it

Btw my GTR hasn't been run in 4weeks stevo feel freeto take it for a spin...

NO LAUNCHES!

Damn that edited bit haha

Yeah ok sweet man thanks, I'll ring dopey and organise to drive it around for a couple of hours for you. Hurry up and get back from the sticks lol

Run the risk of ending up with a single injector flowing 7% extra at low duty cycles. ID weed out this problem.

Bosch have a factory difference of less than 2%, perhaps the cheapest option is to ask Aznew (Injectorsonline) the Aus wholesalers to match flow a set for you if your'e worried? It would be worth paying extra for it, you would still be miles in front. $250 each is a joke.

Iv had both and now run genuine ID after having the above problem with the Bosch.

Or you could all stop falling for the sales hype and buy genuine bosch injectors.

And before you think you are going to reply with all kinds of flow matched this and dead time tested that, crap, it's bullshit. We've had two brand new sets of genuine ID's not work straight out of the packet.

ALL INJECTORS should be flow matched precisely 5 minutes before you put them in and start the car for the first time.

and EFI Performance do all our dead time testing at the same time.

Don't forget the volume of injectors ID would roll through we're talking 1000's of sets by now not 20-50 how many injectors like the faulty one i had would they have found?? Just takes a few people having problems like I did and your rep goes down. What were the problems you had with the ID injectors?? ID are pretty good to deal with when the new 1600's came out I jumped on them but after people started having lean out issues due to a inherent injector issues ID replaced and upgraded me to 2000's and paid for shipping both directions. Pretty good service I thought. Did your Bosch dealer do the same?

well said dan with regards to peoples perception and flow testing.

I have dealt with efi performance as well, very knowledgeable when it comes to fuel mgmt

We only used two sets, both times the car wouldn't start. We had to run them through the injector bath twice before they came up good.

We had the same with a Bosch injector once also. That's why we clean all injectors before use now. They aren't bad injectors. Not a single injector on this planet can be cleaned and flowed, then sit for a month and still have its company guarantee its perfection.

We've never had lean out issues with the pencil type 1600's.

Any time we've had an injector issue with a Bosch injector (ID's included) they were fixed with a clean so we never had to return any.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
