k&n panel filter

Whats a good price?

Oh I just went to the k&n site but am unsure which model to get as they dont have skyline under their nissan section.

..although i have heard something about them being the same used in the VL commondore???

K&N replacement filters in vic are over $100 brand new about $110 or something about that. A VL Filter should fit a r32 as well.

WRX is the same size as well I think, I paid $109 on sale in Melbourne for one, normally $130 or something like that. In the stock airbox there is some noise reducing padding stuff on the underside of the top, if you rip it out you can a more noticeable blow off valve sound. Very rice.

I've got a Jamex panel filter in mine they are very good but Im not to sure where to get one of these, I got mine from SydneyKid a few months ago. I'm pretty sure they are about the same price.

i bought a panel filter at an auto bahn in brisbane for $120.

It fits most commodores and skylines, also it will work better if you can get some cold old air induction to it i.e. (noticeable power)

Thanks for the tip MrZac. Just removed the padding so hopefully on the way home from work tonight I hear a difference.

Does anyone know how to clean these K&N filters? Mines been in for a few months and looks a little dirty.

you should be able to get a K&N cleaning kit from the same place you bought the filter from.

I know Autobarn offered to order me one when I bought the filter not sure of the $ but think its less than the filter anyway.
