I wouldnt mind knowing that as well, i got a cheap set of injectors for 200 or 250 cant remember was told there 650cc items, took them to trent at status and he said there deutch works hi flows, want to get them cleaned an tested before i put them back in, will post up results when i have had it done, still looking for some were to do it.

Petroject flow/clean injectors

There is another mob... EFI hardware i think?

And i believe a 3rd place but the name escapes me at present.

where'd u get them done juz?...16L !?!?!? shiznits thats alot lol and i thought my 15L/100km was bad due to the aggressive jap tune

just a mate of mine shaves them etc puts new caps on and away you go..

actually 16l/100 isnt right id say around 18-20l/100 round town, but my tuner tunes save, my motor is stock as a rock and runs 19psi daily

but u will never get good fuel eco around town, on highway its 10l/100 which is good :bunny:

if u want urs done just PM me and i can organise it 4 you. like i said ive had mine done 2yrs no dramas, raced at willowbank other week test n tune flat 13 @ 114mph even done 8 runs in a row haha then clutch didnt like it.. :D

Yep Mick's Motorsport 9771 3301. On Milperra Rd near the new bunnings just off the Milperra exit on the M5. Cheap and good at it.

As far as i know i think its only side feed injectors tho...sorry all u R34 lads..but check tho, dont take my word for it..

gave micks motorsport a ring, they were really helpful and quoted me $550 for 6 injectors highflowed to 600cc (i must remove and install)..and assured me there wont be no issues with tuning etc.

that was for r34gtt injectors...so they do topfeed too.

so im thinking they would be the best option.

whats everyone think about that price?

Edited by allthewaytotheskyline

yea the job was going to be done at Micks Motorsports as mentioned above. i can have a talk with him to do a mini GB if u guys are intersted. guess we'll need about 5 people for a reasonalbe discount.

might be interested in this soon also, pending whats wrong with my car,

i got quoted

"Cost of hi-flowing injectors is $77 per injector and $40 per injector to ultrasonically clean and flow test.

Cheers

Rob"

dont know what they hi-flow them to, and not sure if u would have to both hi-flow them and clean them for them to work perfect,,

    • Bit of a pity we don't have good images of the back/front of the PCB ~ that said, I found a YT vid of a teardown to replace dicky clock switches, and got enough of a glimpse to realize this PCB is the front-end to a connected to what I'll call PCBA, and as such this is all digital on this PCB..ergo, battery voltage probably doesn't make an appearance here ; that is, I'd expect them to do something on PCBA wrt power conditioning for the adjustment/display/switch PCB.... ....given what's transpired..ie; some permutation of 12vdc on a 5vdc with or without correct polarity...would explain why the zener said "no" and exploded. The transistor Q5 (M33) is likely to be a digital switching transistor...that is, package has builtin bias resistors to ensure it saturates as soon as base threshold voltage is reached (minimal rise/fall time)....and wrt the question 'what else could've fried?' ....well, I know there's an MCU on this board (display, I/O at a guess), and you hope they isolated it from this scenario...I got my crayons out, it looks a bit like this...   ...not a lot to see, or rather, everything you'd like to see disappears down a via to the other side...base drive for the transistor comes from somewhere else, what this transistor is switching is somewhere else...but the zener circuit is exclusive to all this ~ it's providing a set voltage (current limited by the 1K3 resistor R19)...and disappears somewhere else down the via I marked V out ; if the errant voltage 'jumped' the diode in the millisecond before it exploded, whatever that V out via feeds may have seen a spike... ....I'll just imagine that Q5 was switched off at the time, thus no damage should've been done....but whatever that zener feeds has to be checked... • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
